love their passion for what they're doing. you get a real sense they give a shit about capturing the vibe of the first movie right down to the smallest of details. one of my most anticipated games this year.

I agree - and definitely going to be an absolute belter of a game, it looks and even 'feels' amazing due to the atmosphere they create. Absolute quality game in the making from the looks of things.

Kinda feel sorry for the guys making Routine, I hope they aren't overshadowed by this game, Creative Assembly have definately taken a lot from their approach to game design and their art direction philosophy. Looking forward to it though, hope the final game doesnt suck though like A:CM... :/

Yea, although I wonder if it's actually more of a positive. Especially as they are both single-player games. Fans of Alien may, after playing Isolation, go off looking for something similar & discover Routine.

I mean I've certainly heard more people speak about Routine since Isolation was announced.

I know I am eager to play both!

They are trying to stay faithful to the original film, thats ok... however almost 10 whole years before that 2001 Space Odyssey had flat screen lcd type HDTV monitors...

In Prometheus its understood that the ship is a billionaires' custom space cruiser and in Alien its understood that its just a worker ship.

Was very impressed from what I played of it, love the look and the Xenomorph AI is quite unpredictable.

There's time and money for both :)

Routine seems to have more combat than Alien here.

SplitTongue @MikeManiac61: Screw that. The day such a controversial shit flick airs i'm going to move to a 3rd world country with no tv, cinemas or internet. I've had enough. (3 Hours ago)
  • MikeManiac61
MikeManiac61 @SplitTongue: that sounds funny though, but alas people would get their panties in a twist over it. (3 Hours ago)
  • SplitTongue
SplitTongue Not long ago, I've seen a funny fake movie poster of Martin Luther King being played by a white actor "for the sake of diversity". Can you imagine the backlash this would be getting? (4 Hours ago)

SplitTongue Personally I would've reserved the "V" to BF V(ietnam) (4 Hours ago)
  • SplitTongue
SplitTongue Tbh I think the backlash is deserved. Fans asked for a ww2 setting, not an alternative past ww2 setting. If they wanted their designers to get creative they should've sticked to 2143 maybe ? (4 Hours ago)

droezelke @GriftGFX: No, that is my whole point. If they put women and minorities in there, and that becomes a controversy (Remember Sarkeesian), than I will care. No reverse sexism and racism bs. All equal. (4 Hours ago)

aphex187 Watched the Frags video again which shows it in slow motion and it does look nuts but kinda intrigues me tbh. (4 Hours ago)
