American production cars in Forza 2

Turn10 has updated their car list for Forza Motorsport 2, adding the American production cars. I was personally glad to see three Swedish cars some week ago, and this time you'll hopefully find some favourite american cars in there too. Inside you'll find images from this update, plus one including the HUD that was released some day ago.
Update 2: 720p versions of the new images added.

damn this game is beautiful.

my only gripe thus far... bland environments.

Thats part of why i love the Gran Turismo on the ps2/3 and Rally series on the xbox, the environments are actually nice to look at and race in...

Hopefully they feel better when youre actually in them as opposed to staring at them online

the hud picture i take is in game,if so this looks amzing,the car looks plain but the customizer will sort that out
cant wait
any update on a decent release date,the ones i see on net vary from april to november

It sure looks nice and I think in the new videos found in Gametrailers the guy said that they are on the last 6 weeks of polishing and bug fixing so it could be late april or early may but I'm not 100% sure about the release, it's just my guess really :)

It does look nice, but I think that the next Project Gotham will set a the new real level in the graphics department.

Missing the 1970 Dodge Challenger!
And it would be nice with some old Volvos(Like the 544 PV,123 Amazon Sport,244 Turbo)
But it´s gonna be fun like hell!

Anyway i am not much of a racing fan...gona play my GRAW 2 now.

The cars look better than pgr, cant say the same about the environments.

Reminds me of the gazillion bullshots of Test Drive Unlimited, and look how that turned out.

The game is not about the graphics but I trust nothing but native framebuffer shots.

FSAA for starters, If that last pic is 'IN GAME' I'll be happy. PGR3 looked jaggy as hell in game, fooling the gamer with 'photo mode' pics.

THERE IS AN IN-GAME VIDEO ON IGN! IN 'HD' QUALITY! It's definetly in-game, because a guy plays it.. and well, it's not like OMFG CGI quality, so.. yeah .. in-game it is! :D

car models are pretty similar but lighting GTHD beats it hands down, GTHD has the worst backgrounds by far though.

When forza 2 is finish it will blow gthd out of the way even now it is still better looking, gthd is a finish game forza is still in development, when forza is finish then compare both, im a big fan of gt3 and 4 not gthd ill get gt5 when release because i now it will be a solid racer.

I think that people forget Forza 2 is running at 60FPS with its physics going at 360FPS, whereas GTHD can barely keep up 30FPS. So before we start calling names...

Yeh this is MS number 1 racer it will look alot better than gthd and have alot more to it than any other racer in the world.
