I really like it. I'm sure they can get the right atmosphere, the right "feeling" with the snow. Those pants on the first pic looks great, and it all looks pretty detailed.

Amped 2 looks better than this, quite frankly. I look forward to an amped without crazy lift rail exploits though. I hope they have the sense to fix that with this one.

When 2K Games bought Amped and all of the other sport games from MS did they acquire the developers too or just the franchises?

Like everyone. I agree. It simply looks terrible, I wouldn't buy it just because of that, and no, it's not just because of the graphics.......but if they don't care about improving on hardware several times more powerful, why should I care investing on this crap?

Guess I'll be the one to ask, What exactly is the problem with these shots? How much detail do you need in snow. The trees look fine. The character model isn't fantastic, but that can be a reflection of the new art direction. The snow is white. So what is everyone seeing that makes them horrible. I think with a game like this it will be better served to be seen in video form. As a matter of fact in my new GI mag they said that Amped 3 controled better than the previous two when they went to the developers to play an unfinished build. So lets see some videos and calm down. Really, how impressive can snow actually be?

Oh, wait. Maybe the scene should be populated with floating stars and all sorts of icons and maybe wildlife. That should do it.

amped 2 looks better than this, and more realistic. i really hate how they have gone such a different route. i loved the realistic nature of the previous games. this looks like a turd

Good charactor model but the enviroment looks poor... They would have been better off not even releasing these shots.
