Namco put online on the Xbox Live Marketplace this new teaser of the 360 version of Soul Calibur IV, showing quite a few of the characters in action, and of course Yoda.
I'm looking forward to playing as Yoda a lot more than I am Darth Vader. Yoda's fighting style is going to make him a very interesting character. But I wouldn't purchase one version of the game over another based on these two characters, you know they're going to put them up for download on the opposite system anyway.
I didn't mean his force powers, but his fighting style, with all the flips and jumps. :)
Then again, remember Link in the Gamecube version? They'd have to really try to make a character that was more broken.

Every time they marketed they showed one bare chested male and one scantily clad female at the same time, each update. It's just that people tend to notice the scantily clad female more. Why? Is it because of the fighting game audience being mostly male? Or is it something else? Who knows.
It'll be interesting to see how they handle combat with Yoda, after all the typical high blow, or even a horizontal slash should pass right over his head. He should probably be treated as if he's crouching even when he's standing upright.
Can't wait for this game. This will be a lot of sleepless nights fighting online against you guys!
By the way, I'm glad to see they found a cool design for Astaroth, the last where... urgh. Especially that hammer-face-thing..... And the armour of the new girl, that's just awsome.

Like I said, his fighting style and even movement involves a lot of jumps and flips. I've heard a few people say they're worried about balance, because of his height, but as long as he's moving, he shouldn't be a problem to hit.
I don't expect either of these guys to be balanced anyway, but yeah.
Hmm, I try to never go by movies for the true look of the game. That was a lesson learned from ps1/ps2 era, where, if you had a movie in the game, it always looked less polished then the game itself, even if it was of the same scene.
The screens look good, but what doesn't on a computer monitor. I am also hoping for 1080P @ 60 fps, online and off. Reports will come in soon enough if that will be delivered, if I/we haven't missed them already.
