EA Games just releases a new Army Of Two trailer. I think someone tried to be funny in there, but I'm not sure. Anyway, the most important thing is that you'll see real gameplay clips in this video, and this is always good news.
looks good,i would prefer some actual gameplay footage,well more than it shows,but its looking on par with gears of war graphics wise,which is good news,im wondering how the online will work as its based on 2 players,maybe they will scrap the games plot for the online based part of game?
Looks amazing. Can't believe that the entire footage is real-time engine. I am a little bit skeptic if the "meeting" scenes are CGI and were Salem and Rio is out in the field real-time.

Is everyone into making funny trailers now, or what? The game does look very good..but the co-op mode isn't a requirement is it? That is, you can still play alone and the computer will take over the 2nd character??

You would but I havent been impressed with any AI in videogames, its either super stupid or just plain cheats ala Dead or Alive.
Thats all enemy you fight against though, AI thats meant to aid you I think would be much harder. like AI does have a sense of humour, and wont mess around in a game like you would with friends in game.
Just have aweful memories of Half Life, when the friendly AI will just go AWOL.
Most of these "AI co-op" games, i end up playing for myself, ignoring the other team members (they are cannon fodder and distractions only), but games like these shine when it comes to online. I just hope the co-op online is substantial.

I think it's pretty obvious the scenes in the meeting are CG. While the game is looking good, I just can't get over the look of the characters. They look....fat. I know it's from their body armor, but I mean they still look a little flabby around the mid section. The COG in Gears had full body armor without looking chubby. Not to mention, what's with EA and the 'funny' trailers these days? The first Army of Two trailer was like that, but failed miserably IMO. Then you had BF Bad Company which was kind of funny, and now this. Is EA trying to corner the market on the action-comedy GAME market? I just hope this doesn't mean we'll see Rush Hour: The Game next.
Anyway, I can't imagine playing this game single player. Like Gears, I think this game begs to be played co-op, and I intend to answer it's pleas.
