Not impressed by the graphics compared to current gen. Framerate looks bad.

First next-gen games will be like PC versions of current-gen games, that is why they call it cross-gen.

What kind of PR BS is this when you are spitting up sequels every 12 months...I have never despised Ubisoft more than I have this generation.

Framerate does look jittery, but the water looks nice at least. With all these games if there's a version coming out on current gen consoles I wouldn't expect it to look that much better. Same assets and all that.

From what i have seen so far it looks pretty stunning. I don't know what they have shown though (current/next gen/pc). I believe the graphics will be incredible, but I'm more concerned about the gameplay.

I love the thought of an open world pirate game with ship to ship combat and boarding and looting and what not. What I worry about is whether the Assassins Creed name will drag it down. Auto free running, auto combat, and auto everything have kinda worn me out on the series. Make me have to at least push buttons to do stuff and make it a little harder to single handedly destroy an entire legion of men and I may regain some interest.

For a pirate game, the water better look good. Otherwise, its a bloody embarrassment!

Has the same problem as watchdogs. A next gen title held back by being current gen too. And it's assassins creed, which is shit.

They probably din't have the time to make use of PS4 hardware. It will be more like a PC port ,which is not bad thing.

Sadly, a lot of multiplatform games are going to be held back until they give up the PS3/360 versions. But exclusives should look a lot better.

If it is equal to or better than AC3, they'll have that part in the bag. At least on PC, the water looked superb.

Tiz @GriftGFX: I think MS were in full on panic mode because they wanted to add value to their box, so they showed everything. (16 Hours ago)

GriftGFX Yeah they just need to actually implement some of that stuff. They're charting an interesting path. I feel like they showed this game off before they knew what it was. (16 Hours ago)
  • Tiz
Tiz For instance, in Destiny, the whole point of getting loot is to get better equipped to do raids for better equipment to do raids for better equipment and sometimes Iron Banner. (16 Hours ago)

Tiz @GriftGFX: It really depends how they approach it. If you can upgrade your ship, crew etc to navigate more dangerous parts of the sea then it will be a dangling carrot scenario. (16 Hours ago)
