I dno. I loved the previous Ace Combat but I have gotten into Flight Sims since then and I don't know whether I could go back. Will probably give it a go on release.

There'll be a demo at the 15th released on the Japanese Marketplace and PSN so you might get to play it sooner than you think

Really hope the demo allows me to try the expert control mode, can't stand not having some semblance of pitch/ roll maneuvering in flight games.

To be honest I was impressed way more by the flying sequence shown in the latest leaked gameplay vids of Battlefield 3.

That's what I wanted out of a next gen Ace Combat game but this team is still focused on low altitude ground combat when their engine simply can't handle ground textures....

That Battlefield 3 footage totally blew this game out of the water :P

yea, i agree with that portion of your comment; I always had fun playing the AC series but once you got up close and personal with the ground in the series, it always seemed like a hack job

the scale on BF3 takes the cake on this one but I think AC will be a more exciting air to air combat game as BF3 doesn't focus on dog fights as much as ACE

frame rate in the ps3 demo is awful....especially during the heli stage

i will pick it up down the line for $20. Series had a good run though

its a training stage bro....AC games are usually pretty challenging
