Avatar is back after a rather remarkable E3 conference with this first developer diary, about creating the world in the game.

Oh boy, what a horrible hype-fest developer diary: " more than a movie and more than a game, an experience!" - well, from the previews and trailer/screens so far, the GAME certainly looks like a typical license game that might score around 7/10 tops.

Nothing about this game exites me at the moment. But i am looking foward seeing the film.

:( well hopefully they can pull some good stuff out from their brain and incorporate it into the game.

So far i only notice mediocre graphics. :( Hope to see something different.

I think the experience is completely in Cameron's head. I don't get it.

The environments look spectacular, but those alien character models... eewww! Amongst the worst I've seen this gen, actually.

Ooph at the pretentiousness. Is it anything more than a shooter?

It could be a good companion piece to Lost Planet, though.

Yeah, I'm struggling to see where they're innovating with this game. Even within Ubisoft itself, this game seems lackluster.

I hope they start showing us something more significant soon. It's less than 2 months from release.

What's up?

KORNdog @alimokrane: just get the samsung we keep recommending. it's honestly the best bang for buck you can get. you can get better sets, but you will pay the price. and it seem your budget isnt very high. (2 minutes ago)

alimokrane @KORNdog: It's so confusing man.. I have been slaving for a week for a decent 4kt TV and I keep hitting all these little things and it's annoying lol. (12 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog that's all i really understand of it. seems HDR10 is what most TV's have though, so you're probably safe with that. (54 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog a dolby featured one can still do HDR10. but it doesnt work the other way around. also dolby's goes up to 4000nits (arguably future proof but no TV supports it yet) and HDR10 goes up to 1000 nits. (55 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @alimokrane: it's basically just a "brand" of HDR, HDR10 is pretty much the standard right now, and i think dolby do one too? (57 minutes ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane There are version of HDR? I can see some TVs have HDR 10 listed... what does that mean? (1 Hour ago)
  • alimokrane
alimokrane @KORNdog: Sadly I have to agree. This was a big let down for me.... I like FF13 better, there I said it! (1 Hour ago)
