Electronic Arts has released this trailer of the fourth DLC from Battlefield: Bad Company 2 available for all VIP members. This DLC adds the maps Atacama Desert to Rush mode and Port Valdez to Conquest mode.
Truth be told, DICE has said they will not release any new maps except for BF: Vietnam expansion.

DICE is releasing map packs with new game modes on already existing maps. Vietnam will bring new maps to Bad Company 2.
Exaggeration. It's also well known that DICE is working on Mirror's Edge 2 and Battlefield 3 in addition to MoH. And that's three different versions of MoH and Mirror's Edge 2. In recent years they've multiple games on three platforms simultaneously. They're outputting a ton of stuff compared to the days where they released one PC game every few years. Yes, they've grown, but they've grown in size to support the extreme pace of development that EA is tasking them with, and I think they're doing pretty well. They should have never been on Medal of Honor. The game isn't very good and both games (MoH/BC2) must suffer as a result.

QFT, this is the annoying part of what they are doing, since they are trying to get people to buy the game new, we now have to wait months on end to play maps that we've had on the disc the whole damn time. I think they should have made Onslaught mode half price for VIP members as well if EA really wanted to give us proper incentive.
I still own the game, but I don't play it very often. This new unlocking content "pack" isn't gonna get me too excited either. It's a great game w/ tons of great ideas, but the lack of maps and poor conquest mode really hurt the game for me. It just didnt' stay fun for long, at least for me and pretty much all my friends list.
