Haven't seen this one yet. Very nice. Enemies die faster now and weapons don't have a ridiculous amount of bullets. Now all I need is an L85 for my medic. :)
while i think the looped animation are on par with killzone (death animations arnt even close), as is the general visual quality (poly count, textures) the game just lacks the things that made killzone a sight to behold, defared rendering to create some of the best lighting this gen that made for an incredibly grounded and consistent world), well implimented depth of field and motion blur etc. BC2 just looks like BC1 with a lot more contrast and better destruction. as far as an immersive and polished product goes, killzone 2 is still king (well, uncharted 2 dethroned it, but as you said in chat, that's a completely different genre)
if this game was indeed a better looking title then killzone 2, every site on the net would be shouting about how it surpassed the king. but no, the only game thats getting that sort of covarage as far as visual are concerned, is the mighty uncharted 2.
one thing i will say however, is that bad company has pretty much the best sound in the business...it's a treat for the ears.

Dude, I respect everyone's opinion, but you can't be serious if you think Killzone2 looks better than this. You talked about Killzone's lighting as if it were the paradigm. This is broad daylight and there's alot going on here. You also overlook the fact that what we just saw in that trailer was the multiplayer portion of the game. You're comparing Killzone's single player game to another game's multiplayer gameplay. I thought Killzone2 looked amazing, but it also cut alot of corners with the game's atmoshpere. I'm sure others agree that this looks better. These games will always look better as long as the competition keeps being competitive.
Wow...they fixed it alot compared to the first bad company. It doesnt look choppy anymore and I hope they fix conquest. Also can you now select any gun with the class because he is obviously using the assault kit but he also throws down a med kit.

If you look closely he is dropping a box of ammo. At the same time, the friendly demo guy that gets killed in the start of the video, drops an AK.
i think i'm going to get this instead of MW2. the smoke effects are so good just like kz2. you have no idea how crazy it is to try and shoot people when there's nothing but smoke around.
P.S. not better overall tech wise than kz2, sorry folks.
Looks outstanding. Don't care if some other game has a higher polygon count, Christ, that isn't what will keep me glued to my chair until 4am. Gameplay does, and BC1 had me hooked.
Holy shit. The sound is even better than BC1. The first game had the most impressive sound design I've ever heard in a FPS, and they managed to top it!
Comparing it visually to KZ2 is doing it wrong. Its like comparing it to Halo or Call of Duty. They do different things and look good in their own way. Personally Im very pleased about the look of BC2. Its a well-rounded package with good graphics, awesome sound, tried and tested multiplayer and improvements where it matters.
