After some rather nice looking gameplay videos a few weeks ago, Batman: Arkham Knight is back with a brand new trailer, showing quite a few new things.
all i'm hoping for is that it's better then the last 2 games, which were pretty meh. especially arkham city which was like a massive, cameo fest with no consistency or pacing what so ever. throwing everything at something to see what sticks isn't really the best way to design games.
There was a good reason AA and AC both got rave reviews, they were both very great games. I certainly preferred AA over AC but both had several strong points, I'm sure this will be more AC than AA simply b/c of it's greater success and greater fan reaction but either way I have high hopes for this being a really fun time in the batman-verse.
Amazing trailer. If anyone wasn't interested in the game before now, they should be after watching that. If it were a film, it'd make me want to go see it.

It certainly peaked my interest a bit. Still, at this point I am fairly sick of Batman & I don't know if I care to go through another Arkham game.
Damn...Poison Ivy's face.......she might as well be called Poison Fugly. On a brighter note, they did improve Harley's face. She looks like a woman again. Scarecrow looking scary as fuck! They improved everyone's face....except for Poison's. Somebody put a plant pot over her mug.

Scarecrow looks fugly too. Batman looks like a proper man.
That's strange. Windows Media Player won't play this MP4 file. I haven't had any problems in the past. Maybe I need to update a codec for newer Mp4 files?
While doing the hidden codes hunt, I ended up watching this trailer a lot of times at a very slow speed, I really recommend everyone do the same, there's a lot of details that get lost in the fast paced action and that can only be fully appreciated at a very slow speed.
Two things that are really amazing are the visual effects and animations, from when Firefly explodes through a building's window to when the batmobile fires a rocket to a car in a pursuit.
And from when Batman gets out of the Batmobile to strike down a thug through the water to when Batman is catapulted into the air with the batmobile.
And there's many more scenes like that, where you can only fully appreciate all the details at a low speed. This is an amazing trailer and I can't wait for the game, just 3 months now.
