i really dont see the appeal of this game, let alone a half arsed next gen port, this better be ultra budget priced release, wouldve been better suited as an XBLA title

Yeah it was... maybe not the first, but the 2nd one on PS2 and the PSP version were released.

Culture clash. I'm sure it was not intentional. For all we know, "cune", phonetically in Japanese might be some vegetable.

I guess it doesn't help that the character named "cune" is wearing black.

But this is the Japanese version right? So likely during localization the name will be changed.

god, if they change it then thats pathetic, has the world really come to this? where "cune" has to be changed cause it sounds too much like "Coon" i hate this world -_-

I also don't see the appeal of this series... played the demo of the first game on PS2. loved the music, downloaded the OST and that was it.

This game would sell like hot cakes in the US.

For your information the word "cuneiform" means arrowhead, wedge-shaped. They dont have to change anything, especially not because of some caricature character I have never head of in 27 years of being drowned in US culture. They also have a character named Poo.

And its not an XBLA title? Shame, big shame.

I for one will give it a go , jus to see the hype that sorounds this game, i like crazy games, n this is really one of the most weird games dat ive come across, crazy Japanese game, lol but i love Japanese dont get me wrong, anyway i want it for the X360...

More interested in Katamari's creator's new game than this "sequel" he's not even a part of.
