Trailer Xbox 360 PS3

While many are still desperately waiting for some news regarding its sequel, Beyond Good & Evil HD is back with a very short teaser trailer giving us a glimpse of the game's new HD look. The idea of having a second chance to rediscover the world imagined by Michel Ancel is definitely appealing, but please Ubisoft, don't forget to get us a worthy sequel.

I'm not sure people need teasing about a game that's essentially already been released.

In fact when I first read the news, I thought it was talking about BG&E 2 :(
Hopefully this game is a build up to that one, and hopefully that one doesn't get screwed up.

But don't complain, a big French website used an image from the BGE2 teaser as a header for their news. :)

You shoud see it this way: if BGE HD sells, there will most probably be a sequel. If not, well...

This is essentially the PC version, right? In that case don't need. A shame, as I think with a texture upgrade it would look nice. As it is, looks dated. Great game at the time though, liked it a lot.

I think they did 'up' the poly counts a bit; there was some comparison a while back.

Nothing huge though, obviously.

My absolute favourite game along with SOT last gen and to be honest, both games are two of my all time favourites!

GIVE US the sequel DAMN IT ubisoft!

I bought it on steam a while back, but it ran like poop and I remember being disappointed that there was no controller support.

I might try re-installing it..

I don't think this game needs an HD version, it looked pretty good in 480p on xbox (easily comparable with present wii titles), but I understand they are trying to bring it to the attention of people who missed it and see if there's solid ground for a sequel.

As much as I love the game, it's one of those I'll probably never play twice.
The amount of time and effort I put into getting snapshots of every damn creature in the game, on top of everything else... PHEW!

So, it's a game I'll never forget anyway, but I'll hold onto the pretty box shaped trophy just to make sure - "ah yes, THAT game. How great that was"

I eagerly searched for similar games of the time, but didn't find much, with the only console in the house being an Xbox.
Sphynx and the Cursed Mummy was up there, but now that I have a GameCube I suppose I could finally play those Zelda titles.

I don't know, whatever genre that is, I love it and there isn't enough of it.

I played the game on PS2 and never finished it, I remember I started to find the stealth portions really tiresome and gave up and for some reason I never picked it up again...

I may give it another chance in HD though if nothing else than to show support for a sequel.

Great characters (Pey'j and Jade), unique world, loads of exploration, lots of variety in gameplay, taking pictures of creatures, mission variety, great plot, very fun multi-person combat that was the predecessor to Batman Arkham Asylum.

Basically, if you like Zelda and want to see a great lead female character, you'll like this game. Never gets repetitive.
