How do Irrational do it? Its incredible to believe that this is the same engine that Dishonored ran on. The new codec looks amazing Gamersyde.

Very nice atmosphere and art, hopefully its gonna be really fun like Bioshock 1.
I hope they make the gunplay feedback much better and not shit like other Bioshock games.

Yes, I'm very hyped. For me it's an instant buy, that's for sure! I'm also relieved that it doesn't come this holiday season, cuz I'd be broke then. :D

Gamersyde, wow! New AVC1 codec looks spectacular. This is the only place I come to knowing I'll get the absolute best in video quality. Keep up the good work!

Man, Im too consumed by Dishonored, right now. 10/10 game for me. Level design is outstanding and that silend killing.........very satisfying. :-) But Im looking foward this as well. Nice video.

The UE3 in this is more obvious with all the fire stuff than Dishonored which has gorgeous art direction, feels like a painting:

I feel the same about this game that I do about dishonored—both look really great, but I am just not excited about either of them.

I'll undoubtedly play both at some point.

Yup. Just on the last mission in dishonoured. Such an awesome and long lasting game. I've easily spent 25+ hours on my ghost run. And i fully intend to do a lethal stealth run afterwards.

what I might add, is that Bioshock UE2.5 was more keen on doing it's on thing and being more unique in a outdated engine very tweaked to meet his vision, than it his now that relies too much on well known UE3 visual upgrades... even obvious by its colour palette(Gears of War 3 & Bio Infinite brothers from another mother?).
But, if going by that fake E3 Demoing, it still is quite unique.

This trailer is kinda boring :/

Still excited for the game, but they should have shown more impressive story sequences

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My foremost concern is the quality of game design and user experience. I don't actually care about the exploitation of whales much if it doesn't hurt the game. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX So then top players stop wearing their loot so that they don't get matched with noobs? Sounds like a bad plan. Hopefully anything that implements this stuff leans heavily on ELO first. (1 Hour ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts Fuck!!! it just came to me, this type of Micro Transactions Match Making (MTMM) based system will mostly be used to explore children and teenagers. And other companies will follow suit. Jesus... (1 Hour ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts "For example, in one implementation, the system may include a microtransaction engine that arranges matches to influence game-related purchases". Today is a really fucking bad and depressing day. (2 Hours ago)
