God, why is every first comment on this site by some POS posting garbage? lol.
I still don't like the way they are handling the guns in this game. I mean, crazy new machine pistol looks cool, but the XM8? Really? That's the new M16 in the future? That shit was such a mess, argh.

Game looks pretty awesome. Although, not sure I finished Black Ops, I should make sure to pick it up this holiday along with this one and see what they were able to do towards refreshing the game.

one thing is for certain, probably the most colourful COD to date. They have to compensate the last gen engine somehow.

Didnt really like the first BO (other than zombie mode), but this is looking decent enough...and i'm bound to get alot of 'bang' for my buck as cod games always offer decent value

from the E3 demo capture that D. Foundry gave a bit of analysis, this is going to be one of the worst performing iterations of the CoD "60 fps" Engine on the Franchise. the average should be much more closer to 30, than 60 fps, you can see for yourself here:

it they are true and that trailer is a 360 capture, it shouldn't look smooth between takes.

Hope there will be a demo. I will give it a try. TBH I always liked CoD engine. Putting the game itself aside, soldiers and weapons still look absolutely awesome.

not really, no. medal of honor MP maybe, but certainly not BF3 or by the looks of things, NFS.

bf3 single and multi never looked as good as MW3 on console imo..i'm not going to compare a racing game to it. I cant imagine BO2 looking worse than MW3

Did you have the HD pack installed? I think BF3 looks a fair bit better, specifically the lighting, even if it is over done.

yeah and i played MW3 straight after... theres just so much going on at one given time it impressed me more. I agree the lightings better, but textures, animations ect just look nicer to me. I also thought MW3 looked better than crysis 2 too (i'm talking 360 versions of all btw). Animations (multi)in the new MOH beta looked like they compared more to counter strike than cod (multi)..i cant really see them brushing up too much on that at this point.

In bleached defense i think he's going off of looks for him.I disagree myself, but he's not concerned with the tech of what dice had to cram on consoles.

BF3 is not even a 60fps game.

Also, the animations in COD have been one of the weakest points, BF3's are much better in.

I mean, I guess COD always looks clean, crisp. and has a nice 60fps, & perhaps the environmental textures have more to them, but still I think its technically looks a good bit "flatter" in comparison BF3 or Crysis.

BF3 also has huge vehicular interaction

and cod has 2 player split screen. I just think Cod looks crisper and nicer and the engines alot better suited for this gens consoles than frostbite 2
