Majesco Entertainment Announces 'BloodRayne: Betrayal' Coming This Summer
The Original Femme Fatale Video Game Returns
EDISON, NJ--(Marketwire - March 31, 2011) - Majesco Entertainment Company (NASDAQ: COOL), an innovative provider of video games for the mass market, announced today that BloodRayne: Betrayal will be released as a full-scale digital game on Xbox LIVE® Arcade for the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft and PlayStation®Network this summer. Based on the best-selling vampire game franchise, BloodRayne: Betrayal stars the beautiful yet lethal dhampir anti-heroine as she fights and feeds in a bloody new hack 'n slash adventure. The game is being developed by WayForward, the award-winning team known for bringing franchise favorites back to audiences in exciting new ways.
"It's been a long time since Rayne captivated players with her bold mix of brutality and beauty, and fans have been hounding us to release another BloodRayne installment," said Jesse Sutton, CEO, Majesco Entertainment. "We are excited to once again partner with the creative and committed team at WayForward to bring Rayne back. BloodRayne: Betrayal delivers the action-packed experience franchise fans have been waiting for in a digital format that's also accessible for new players unfamiliar with Rayne's over-the-top, stylized gameplay."
BloodRayne: Betrayal delivers stylish 2D side-scrolling action with a deadly dose of bloodshed. Players become Rayne, the sexy and dangerous dhampir born from the union of vampire and human, blessed with extraordinary strength, speed and agility, but cursed with a thirst for blood and weakness to sunlight. Begrudgingly recruited by the vampire hunting Brimstone Society for one final mission, Rayne teams up with a mysterious new friend to stop an evil vampire massacre. Introducing new characters, gruesome environmental puzzles and a full arsenal of lethal weapons including Rayne's signature arm blades, BloodRayne: Betrayal stays true to the fan-favorite vampire game franchise while incorporating challenging new enemies and surprises specifically designed for mature audiences.
A few stuff that was great in BF4 is gone in BF1 which i hope gets fixed and brought back to BF1. Or for example non laggy menu or you straight to the spawn map after customizing your weapon. (1 Hour ago)
Or for example when you are in the zone of the flag the actual flag letter wont show up on top middle of the screen you gotta look at the actual flag in the game. (1 Hour ago)
@aphex187: Well the strafing they added in later fter they understood it was a mistake. Unlike BF1 were the class menu ingame disseapers which is bullshit IMO. (1 Hour ago)
@Sath: I like BC2, i even think it's a million times better than BF4 what with it's janky movement and no strafing :D (3 Hours ago)
@aphex187: ah screw you yall it was fun. (4 Hours ago)
@Sath: OMG you mentioned BC2!! That's you doomed then :D (4 Hours ago)
The game reminds me of BC2 but WW1 setting which is a good thing IMO since i loved BC2. (4 Hours ago)
