Even if the game has been released one week ago in Japan, Mistwalker keeps updating the official Blue Dragon site with new medias. This time 2 images and one video.
there is a point where for me hype/advertising/ext starts to become obnoxious, and Blue Dragon is the only game in a long time that has gotten me to that point, i really want the game, but oh lord, enough allready lol!!!!!!
i guess ill just have to start ignoring the game untill the reviews, cuz thats all im interested in seeing at this point
These pictures and videos give me a feeling of nostalgia that I felt the first time I experienced my first rpg Phatasy Star back in 1988. From that point I was in love with rpgs. This title will bring back that love for sure. I'll put it in my top ten list along with titles like Fable, Sudeki, Skies of Arcadia, Jade Empire, Phantasy Star, Land Stalker, Dark Savior, Phantasy Star, Shining and the Darkness, and Shining Force. Man were those the good ole days. Thank you Mistwalker.
I watched FF VII Advent Children again today, and OMG the characters, the skills of how it all looks, and how a great of theme of mixing high tech and fantasy together.
One of the reasons I am going to give turn-based a big shot, and I have not totally decided to buy Blue Dragon, but I might, and I really think Op knows why, we discussed it.
PS. Tifa looks beautiful in the CGI movie, especially with her thick black little eyes, just makes me happy.
mass effect will be better than this, but im going to get this game anyway; i could use some old-school combat for a change. amazing graphics. i had no idea the blue dragon vids were real-time.
I'm hoping the fix the levels of the Bosses by the time it comes out in Europe and America.
It seems after reading the thread over at neogaf that the games bosses and enemies are too easy. It also seems as if the bosses don't level up as the characters do. Sooo i can spend hours and hours leveling up and when i reach the boss i can easily surpass him. Hopefully thats fixed along with the framerate
But wow this game looks sooo terffic, truly a next generation game that our eyes can fiest upon
I heard some of the bosses are extremely hard or simply impossible to beat (the optional ones) The framerate during some of the battles doesn't bother me, but I hope they atleast work on it.
I hear depending on how you setup your shadows it could make a number of battles easy or extremely hard. I think there is a nice balance there.

OOO i know abou the optional Bosses, and yes i've heard thier quite hard........But the regular bosses could be push overs if you level up your characters enough. I don't think they made the games according to the player playing, its more as if they pre-set all the bosses at a certain level.
This isn't any concrete info i'm giving out here, just by reading the impression over at neogaf, but its something that can be easily fixed with before the release of the game.
I don't mind if its not changed though, since this game is just soo damn aweome; I hear it really doesn't take away from the fun if the game. Unlike Enchanted Arms. The damn Earth Lord is impossible. I spent an hour on him and i olny did 100 hp damage. Horrible
