Blue Dragon images

Blue Dragon images

For the next Gamersyde Diaries I've been recording all my adventures in Blue Dragon's world (more than 13 hours of video so far...) et from time to time I capture some images when I find something I find beautiful or interesting. I've selecting some of them in this gallery, and as you can expect they have some spoilers, even if they do not show much if anything from the story itself.

Maybe you should start to use a good digital camera instead? They look quite grainy when you direct capture them like this. Just my thoughts.

Cool pics but still's really don't do this game justice (I guess it doesn't do any game justice) but seeing this game in motion is pure eye candy :)

Gibral City has some of the best attention to detail i have seen in a game.

I was actually surprised that the engine could render 25-30 high poly charcters on screen at once with no slow down.

One of the acheivements is to protect the caravans with taking no damage, and I really can't see how you can even do that. (you only get one chance unless you reload from a save point)

Some of the achivements in this game are just damn right impossible.

Start a battle with 10 enemies ? most i have done is 5.

I'll never own it, or even play it, not my cup of tea, but this game has phenomenal graphics. I bet it looks super in motion, too. This game is a system seller. For those that like this type of game this would be hard to pass up, I'm betting.

Sigh, Jollipop. You have no idea how crucial it is that you learn active reload. Or else the Locust will swamp you. Oh, Blue Dragon. That doesn't relate to GOW in anyway.

Those screens look amazing. BD is truly a beautiful game. On an artistic level, yes, its better the GOW. But graphically, overall, I'm not sure. I'll have to play it on my HDTV.

I dont think you can compare GoW with Blue Dragon, both has it distinguish "art style" of graphic use, to be more precise; BD is more focus on making a 3D models from Toriyama-san'S manga style while keeping the charm of a cartoonish world. GoW is more focus on making a sinister, realistic, sad, mad...environnements so that you can feel despair...

Enough said, GoW and Blue Dragon are both graphically appealing to the eyes. :)
And it is sad to know that the Japaneses are stupidly missing this marvelous game and a bundle to die for...Let's hope Capcom and Mistwalker can make them move on.

I have a big question that is a deal breaker to me in my decision to buy this game or not. Is Nene the main enemy in this game? Somehow Nene seems like the crappies enemy ever created. I wish there was a cooler enemy like sephirot or something else. Younger at least. Can you guys answer this question?

Ok Blim, I have had enough of this. You have to stop posting pics and videos of BD, I just don't have the self control to not look.

I cannot believe how much I want this game...and I don't even like the art style, baffling.
