How long did it take to release FFXII in States after Japan ? Shuldn't take longer than that...i hope. I saw preview on some site, they claimed BD would be released on 30 dec 2007...but they didn't look reliable.

it's coming in the next few months... whether they say Feb 12th or Feb 20th or March 2nd or Jan 17th doesn't matter...

Be thankful they aren't saying Q2 or Q3 '07.

That's what Microsoft said at the X06... X06 press-conference? Wait, no. That other European one. I can't remember the name. They said it was coming to America in Q1 and to Europe in Q1-Q2. I'm absolutely positive of that.

Jup, MS usually is quite fast with translating games. Just to bad that it didn't sell as much as ppl expected in Japan. But this does prove for me that the ppl going "They are that chauvinistic" are right. I was one of the ppl that thought that with the original Xbox they made too many mistakes for it too become popular. But this kinda shows that Japan only wants Sony hardware and maybe Nintendo if they come with something fun like the Wii or the DS (if it's a normal console they rather buy Sony).

I mean compared to the 360 the PS3 has almost no games out yet it sells like crazy there.

well the 360 and wii are winning in europe and america and noone I know even wants a ps3. I played one and I was absolutely horrified lol. It was like playing on a big psp, the controller is so light that it feels like your holding nothing, the tilt when compared to the wii just seems really pointless, its the same ps2 controller so its far too small, the sticks are impossible for good aiming and all round it just wasnt very fun to play with. And for the price and delays it really should be. Anyway blue dragon will sell out in america and europe so mistwalker wont mind.

Well its hard to be impressed by a ps3 with the current lineup of games. Wait till next year.

I really do hope this game comes out early next year that would be amazing, but something tells me it may take till late 07.

Gameplay here in the UK have it marked down as March 30th 2007. They normally are reliable when it comes to unconfirmed release dates, which are reasonably accurate.

Q1 2007 is still far earlier than what I was expecting. Gives me some hope for the Q1 lineup, and some doubt as to whether I'll be buying another console till next next-gen =P.

I'm just wondering with that Q1, unless they were converting at the same time they were making the game it might work, because 3 DVD of Japanese text and voice would take sometime in doing if they didn't.

No, but it could be with a problem, really.

It's kind of like Skies of Arcadia nostalgia. And that's a compliment. This is the first game that I've seen in which I have to actually look very closesly at the images to determine whether they're cg or realtime. It looks that good.

hehe Skies of Arcadia, that game had the most random battles ever. Take 4steps and bam random battle. Still it was a great game

Q1 isn't possible. No matter how much i would love this game during that time, its just not a real time frame to release this babe.

It takes 4-6 months to do a good translation. I'm not sure if they started before the game was even released in Japan, but it takes a long time to translate, especially if we want a good translation

Plus that time frame is for Microsofts other big hitters. Theres no way thier gona release this tiple A title in the same time frame as "Crackdown, Too Human, Mass Effect and Forza 2. Even though its a different genre (still similiar to Mass Effect) theres no reason to push it

My guess it summer of 2007. They don't have any big releases for that time frame. Plus it would give them a lot of time to translate and fix the little bugs. Perfect time cause summer is horrible because there isn't alot of tiple A content

I would think summer 07 also because the games has 50 hours of game play, but Eternal Sonata I would consider sider a very big release which is due summer 07 state side as well I intend to buy both then there is VF5 as well 07 will be the year for 360!

Thats true, Both those games looks wow, but like i mentioned not that many big triple A releases duing the summer. Having these two games is great because thier rpgs, filled with hour and hours of gameplay

Plus VF4 doesn't come out until end of Summer. I see Blue Dragon early summer, Eternal Sonata middle summer and VF4 as mentioned end of Summer

when Blue Dragon 2, is announced, and they show more Lost Odysey, and they announce FINAL FANTASY (Haeresis>?) XIII , the 360 should pick up in japan....i expect BD to come to the states around mid 07
