Xbox Live - "High action and deep mystery await players in this new Halo 3 campaign experience. Prepare to drop"
There is a building labelled traxus in the beginning.
-The camera angles are labelled
-Tanaga
-Lumumba
-Mbaraki
-Error (also flashes Sidiriyai and Makadara)
-Sign says "evacuate city of New Mombasa"
The rest is pretty self-explanatory.
We think it might be squad based because of the references by Captain DARE.
Looks like ODST drop pods to me, and there is the "prepare to drop" reference.
Mbaraki is Mombasa, so the cameras are showing views of New Mombasa.
The space elevator is intact.
There is a huge explosion with an EMP pulse.
I think we are viewing the moment in Halo 2 where Truth engages his slipspace drive in the middle of New Mombasa, destroying the city.
Could the expansion pack be the squad based game we've been hearing about, based on ODST troops, telling the story of Halo 3 from a different viewpoint, starting with the destruction of New Mombasa?
Maddie were are you?
Jarrard: "We're always looking at ways to further expand and improve the Halo 3 experience, but there are currently no plans for an update to add new campaign content."

In Halo 2 the tether in Mombasa was destroyed in a blueish, white energy burst / explosion when the covenant ship jumped to the other halo. Maybe you play as an ODST trying to survive the aftermath of that event.
Hey, there's a thought - maybe this expansion culminates in the sequence of events shown in the live action movies, i.e . ODST drop troops getting the laser marker to tag the Chief as he's falling back to Earth at the start of Halo 3 so that Johnson can find him?
So this expansion would actually tell the sequence of events that happened on Earth between the destruction of New Mombasa and the return of the Chief.
12 Secs in, you can see a Covenant Cruiser above the AMG(Mercedes) building, then it dissapears at 22sec. Then at the end of 24sec you can see that those are machines dropping from the sky. Like the ones in the Matrix. Actually they look like sperm at 25. Just black. Actually they are the drones from Ghost of Onyx.
at 44 sec in you can see the Cruiser taking up the whole skyline again, and then at 48 it's gone, after a message in frame 2 in sec 48 saying that Evacuation is complete.
it also says TANAGA - looking online TANAGA is a volcano in alaska - it did look like ash falling from the sky
Mbaraki is a medium sized naval port near mombasa
Very interesting...hopefully it's a new game and not Halo 3 related title.
Err sath EVERYTHING above points to it being Halo 3 related??
My bad, just woke up, totally, forgot it had "Halo 3" in the end hahaha.
If it has better graphics , some AA and more imaginative gameplay & enemy design , I am in...
Then why would Brian Jarrad from Bungie lie about new single player content?
