Burnout Paradise: Online race

Burnout Paradise: Online race

Our friend Dot50cal sent us this video of Burnout Paradise (PS3 version) showing a quite nice online race. It looks like there is a bit of lag for some players, but it sure looks perfectly playable.

Nice, how is the online mode in general? Revenge was extremly laggy and close to impossible to play online. Just wondering because that would make me buy the game eventually.

It seems quite good in regards to lag. I didn't notice much to be honest. Quite playable :)

Se777en, they are the same in textures and other graphics. PS3 has a slight framerate edge and it only rears its head very rarely but thats all.

Been playing for a couple days now, not to many people seem to own it (or are playing online).
And worst of all, EA's shitty servers go down maybe every 1-2 hours for undetermined amounts of time.

Biggest problem with the game has got to be the netcode (i.e. people can take you down without even touching you and some distance away.) and the custom races are pretty much on predetermined nodes not allowing the freedom of pure-custom races. Outside of that, it's pretty fun.
