Looks excellent and a notable step up visually from the superb Call of Duty 2 on the 360. As long as Treyarch have stuck to Infinity Ward's proven template (and from the looks of the videos I've seen, they have as the game seems to be using a refined version of the old engine with the same aiming and health system) then it should be very good indeed.

While it does look a little better than the last outing, I keep having thoughts of PC gaming coming to mind. This is, by no means, a masterpiece graphically. I would love to see them use an update of the Source engine for one of these games and get some physics involved. It would be great, especially online, if you could use the physics of the environment to kill your enemies. Vehicles will definitely add to the excitement though.

The lighting does look greatly improved now, i will say. Especially in the first three shots.

I played the game, the screenshots don't do the game any good. It looks much better in motion. The only complaint I had were some really low res textures of some objects (some trees, some small stone walls etc.) But well, I played a beta version.

As for the gameplay, I was only able to play the singleplayer, but actually quite a lot of the singleplayer. The difficulty of the game is much higher, there's chaos everywhere and it's extremely fun to play. I'm really lookin forward to this game.

The people who attended Gamespots 'After Hours' event seem to think Call of Duty 3 was game of the show; they really enjoyed and it , and as XSamu stated they said it looks much better in motion.

I think it will be a great sequel, but I'm eager to see more from Brothers in Arms.

Looking good. Now just lose the horrendous jaggies and we have a winner.

COD3 is looking very pretty - I'm not convinced it will be better than COD2 though.

It's still looking great. We'll see if it kicks the ass of CoD2 that was a fantastic game. It needs a lot, but it's possible.

@candyman and JoRu: Don't know 'bout the multi-player part, but as for the single-player part, I'm 90% sure it'll be better then COD2. It played amazingly well, it was just fantastic.

That's good XSamu, because I don't have XBL Gold at the moment, I gotta get it soon, but if I don't. I'll have the Single-Player part, and I hope that's enough. But I must test the online-mode too...

Sath @Megido: I thought you meant disc install data LOL Yes downloading full games like Infamous 2, borderlands...etc. off PSN takes ALOT of times. i just leave it on and use laptop or something. (2 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i never really witness it. i download games "which then auto install" overnight. i can imagine it being quite annoying if you're watching the bar fill though. (2 Hours ago)
