Sweet, Loving the Beta on the 360 :D

my 360's dead at the moment so i haven't been able to taste the beta but everything i've heard about it has made me want this game so badly.

i hope its more balanced then the multimplayer beta. im sick of being killed purely becasue a guy has a better gun or better perks just cos he's been playing longer. it wouldnt be so bad if you was actually matched with players of equal rank, but your not. no matter what rank i was always going against multiple 16 ranked players.

sort the balancing issues and they're onto a winner. if not. it'll be single player only for me. which thankfully looks amazing.

I hope they fixed a lot of the problems in the beta:

The matchmaking just plain sucked:
- People getting dropped every round
- It's hard to get all your friends into one match even when they are in the same party...

IMO the perks and "unlocked guns" aren't overpowered. It's because of skill.. I can just as easily kill a guy with a unmodded weapon as with a modded weapon....

No need to balance those things IMO....

i hope theres no squad commands in this game, i hate telling AI what to do in games with complicated button combinations!!!
that is enough to ruin this game for me personally...

After playing the first 7 chapters of Halo 3 I honestly can say, that in the graphics department the game won't be hiding behind anything coming this and next year. IMO the cutscenes are the best I've seen in any videogame. Story and gameplay were fantastic as well.

Anyway this is about CoD, and I'm glad they finished it. Gonna get it for the Sp I guess, since realistic shooters tend to bore me after a short while in MP.

I wish they would go ahead and release it for PS3 since it's done and they dont' want to put it up against teh haloz.

damn, i hate wen they give release dates that far ahead and they actually finish the game months before. since they cant change the release date that kind of sucks to know that its going to be in store shelves teasing us while we wait for the release date to come.

well what annoys me is people that steal it form the internet will be playing it before us, ala halo 3

2nd the reason you can,t get all you friends in is because of the NAT setting. you really need to have open nat

3rd it does not matter what rank you are.. ok level 1 vs 50 maybe but people it comes down to skill

That may be, but November 5th release date is strategically placed to be AFTER the Halo 3 hype.

For me it seems to come down to getting owned terribly, when I'm on a team and no one uses the mic to work on teamwork, among Lag being another big contributor, and host advantage. Otherwise the weapons/perks I think are pretty well balanced. Skill is also a big contributor. I suck at deathmatch, but I do better than average at search & destroy. I hate getting last stand used on me, but if you ever use it on someone else its pretty sweet... just part of the game... like shooting through walls with "deep impact" sucks, but the other perks that the person doesn't have balance out the game. I'm more hyped over COD4 then halo3.

one last thing what was the point in a beta if they are just going to let the game go gold when the beta is still open ...... cause there is a few cheats in the beta getting into places your not meant to =(

Yes, this game rocks. I'm in the 360 beta also. Halo 3 and COD4 are a lock for me.

I really like the beta. I'm not big into MP games at all, but I've put over 7 hours in this (not as much as many, but I already have a decent 'score')

Controls, framerate, netcode, and pacing are all to my liking, a few balance tweaks might be good though.
