Between Bioshock, Halo 3, and Mass Effect, Game of the Year is going to be a tough one.
I'm 100% sure Mass Effect will be my game of the year. I've already got Bioshock and it's awesome, I'm going to buy Halo3 asap and it will be great too but if theres one genre I love above everything else its rpg.
still not sure if this game will be that good. i really enjoyed KOTOR a lot, and liked its style of play, but this game is not star wars and doesnt have the same kind of characters as this game. and the voice acting in this game isn't that great. also, from the map i seen from one of the locations in the game at an E3 demo, the areas seem kind of small. yes the game looks amazing, but great graphics do not make a game good. it helps but if the game is so boring and mediocre, graphics will not even matter if u can barely stand each minute of this game.
i guess i will have to either wait until i see something new from this game or until a review comes out before i make up my mind about this one, because the gameplay still hasnt got me pysched to play this. as of now, Assassins Creed looks like a winner just from its awesome gameplay.
Could be my first western type rpg that I'm gonna buy ( usually they suck imo :D ). I like more Japanese style but this looks quite nice...well let's wait and see :)

GetPwned: Oblivion sucks noodle once you wrap your head around the system. Also it's way too linear. Also, the story is pretty weak in oblivion. I mean...sure, it's fun for like 100-150 hours or so because you are dazed from the wast scope of the world and all the little quests but it's not the kind of game that warrants a second play through. Morrowind is better in most of these respects though.
Mass effect though? If it's anything like what they have done on the console side of gaming before it's going to be a nice blend of both western and eastern rpg elements. Like the conversations, the likely i slew of side quests and the possibility to explore the characters of your party combined with a story that isn't just there because it has to be and is presented in the cinematic and epic manner that you would expect form a j-rpg.
I think the women are too tall and mature for the Japanese audience, make them sound like little children and youre golden. The boob and eye size is already spot on. :P NIIHAAAU!
This game is another sure hit for MS. And there was much rejoicing.
