wow,loving the 4 player co-op,as long as its lag free this is gonna kill COD4 for fun in my opinion, i think everygame should incorperate co-op,just hoping its true co-op campaign and not like mercs2 were its just jump in

Looking slick! Nice to see they've decided to actually use their Mature rating and improved the blood effects for some added realism. Think I'll pass on this one because it's WWII again but I can't wait for Infinity Ward's sequel next year!

im kinda happy to see the return of WW2 titles after the anslaught of modern day shooters (why is it that when developers get a good thing they all milk it untill its boring?) co-op is gonna be the big feature for me and visually i think it looks pretty nice, especially when you first see it in-game where you can see the guns barrel. looking forward to it tbh, probably wont buy it, but definate rental

its an improved version of the cod4 engine,also this is the 4 player co-op version so expect a downgrade for any game when playing co-op online,actually watchin it again,u are insane!!this game looks amazing

yeah exactly, its another "improved" engine... to the devs: its not improved enough, and your gameplay aint really making it up for it either ;)

Most game engines are recycled in some fashion. Call of Duty 4 still has Quake 3 source code floating around in it.. does that offend you? It's a good thing.. really.

I loved that video.. Although I'm not too fond of ANOTHER WW2 shooter, it looked really fun and the 4 player co-op seems to bring in a whole new dimension. Great fun!

i dunno what the fuzz is all about... i played thru CoD4 and i wasnt really impressed with the gfx. (played in DX9 tho).

And this looks just as.... tame... The things said about the Q3 engine is still in there, i could belive, cos the smoke is the same damn smoke they made in CoD 2 maybe even back in CoD1 to, dont remember tho.

CoD4 is a DX9 game by default mate.

Following the logic in this thread, Call of Duty 4 barely has better graphics than Call of Duty.. which barely has better graphics than.. Quake 1? It cracks me up that people still think that PC gamers are the graphics whores.
