To say that Crackdown 3's development has been paved with difficulties is what you can call a huge understatement. The game will be officially released in a few hours, but we've had a bit of time to play it already and, though it's too soon to tell you if it has a bit of potential, its approach to open world titles seems a bit dated to say the least. Maybe fans won't mind, but it's to see what this third installment adds to the 2007 formula. To make it worse, the PC version runs quite terribly, as it suffers from stuttering issues on all kinds of rigs, including ours (GTX 1080 Ti and i9 9900K at the time of capture). According to Digital Foundry, it is very unlikely that it can be fixed one day, so talk about cherry on the cake. Check out the 2 following videos and let us know what you think, especially if you've had a chance to try the game.
This is the closes (setting) i've seen to my old fav. Irem's Ninja Spirit that i've seen. Feudal japan mixed with From's superb bosses also makes me think about Madhouse's Ninja Scroll. (23 minutes ago)
only played the first area (after the prologue), and it's more openworld-ish than the other From games. very vertical , and wider play area. (26 minutes ago)
@asdfg: The first miniboss felt like something they put in there to tell soulspeople that "don't play it like it's souls". i got whooped seriously when i tried to dodge the guy,. (30 minutes ago)
