Page 1 2 >>i kind feel that is too bad this upper echelon of the engine is wasted in another crysis. I really hate to fight those brain dead cell modern warefare drones, and never liked that much the gunplay. The alien weapons were cool, though. and it's refreshing playing as a superhero in fps.
Engine looks ace tho. Such a waste. :(
Once I cranked up the difficulty (after maxing my Suit abilities on the first playthrough) it really made the game much more fun. It's like being the predator. You pretty much have to stay cloaked the whole time, as you die fast, but since the suit doesn't drain as fast, you can come at situations many different ways...
OOh tesselated toad tech... The future is now!!
Just put the difficulty on highest, and the Ai is good enough. Not the best, but comparing it to COD AI is ridiculous.

I "hardly" (lol) doubt the pc version is much different, other than the better k/m response, in enemy AI and reactions... so they all moved the same. I got tired of doing giant hitbox head shots (and to the aliens too, but at least when those decided to move they would almost vanish, so that was cool. too bad you could wait in a corner and... headshot.)
Only time i found the enemys difficult and that had that "veteren cheap difficulty" that makes you grow hair on your chest, was on the cloaking aliens tword the end.
But the real problem, beside trying trying to avoid myself from becoming some sort of game graphics critiquing loser, if they made a game that was damn fun to play, they could go completely 1999 low-poly and I'd play the hell out of it.
Still looks too plastic-like for me. While I'm sure it's due to the abilities of the designers, their engine never seems to produce anything that looks like it has true texture. It always has some sort of clear gloss to it. The water is quite unimpressive as well. Sort of an analogy for the whole 'crytek' look we've grow acustom to.
oh man after that milf I had for lunch... Im still so hot that Ill have to use this to fab to lol.
Okay... When Cevat Yerli said not to overstate Unreal Engine 4, that Epic should have done more then just show off with a tech demo, it sounded very childish. But seing these directly from ingame footage... I can't help but thinking he was right after all. O_o
Sadly we will see more of UE4 next gen than this.
This Engine is on another level completly compared to UE4.

Amazing stuff. Already beats the unreal 4 engine in-game. I hope the toad is in the game.
It's very pretty for sure, but from a tech standpoint it's nowhere near Unreal 4 level. This is still a current gen engine, Unreal 4 is doing things far beyond that.
