Crytek finally released the long awaited DirectX11 patch for Crysis 2 but they also added a whole patch dedicated to HD textures. On the highest settings and 1080p, the framerate goes from 60 fps to 24 fps on my PC, a high price to pay to have new cool effects. Is it worth it? I'll let you decide and compare with the videos we made when the game was first released. Update: DirectX 11 Ultra Upgrade Trailer added.
yeah I would hope so. The fact it's $60 right now in this stage is rough though (12 minutes ago)
I'm assuming since it's 1st party there's a decent chance of it eventually becoming good. (21 minutes ago)
so I'm thinking I may wait to buy Sea of Thieves when it actually has good quest content. Game is REAL shallow (39 minutes ago)
like in dark souls where i mapped run/dash/roll to one of the paddles so i could run (b-button) while controlling the camera (right thumbstick) at the same time. (5 Hours ago)
you can feel the difference in material quality in every part. 3 different swappable thumbstick heights is also nice, and the programmable and swappable trigger pads beneath are also nice in some gams (5 Hours ago)
@droezelke: i had the standard one pad. i liked it, but then it was in an (ahem..) accident. So i had to get a new one anyway. the elite is really nice. d-pad is very good. good grip (5 Hours ago)
@Melmoth: Standard. The elite is too expensive. I can buy multiple games for that money :-) (6 Hours ago)
