Well...rather than seeing this i'd appreciate if they showed how the would incorporate these features in to the game. I mean...will stuff like breakable bones actually contribute anything to the gameplay?

Looks like they practically just showed us 3 or 4 different models of the same head.

w/o blood
w/o skin
w/o jaw

hmm... so they can alter heads, but will there be fluid transitions from one state (or model) to another? (e.g. by help of a crowbar) :-o

best regards,
ScarJack

erm.. ok. that showed nothing apart of a transition between different rendered movies.

Doesn't even look particulary good, does it? Maybe I just don't understand the purpose of this movie.

I'm sure that, what you see here, is not inflicted by the player himself. It's how the people turn into zombies, but the part without the skin, it's way too gross and detailed for me xD.

Glad i am not that guy..

On another note, i think the character model is really detailed and i think it's cool to actually see people transform into their zombified state in a game, rather than see a shot of a guy and the next moment a shot of him as a zombie

That be freaking sweet!!! I remember when Perfect Dark Zero got out and i played infected that was pretty fun but instead of skeletons i always anted some really nice zombies..
P.S about CoD4 with zombies.. imagine sniping a zombie while laying in the grass and you see its head blow up!!! KETCHUP-FESTIVAL!!! :D

True Body Per Vertex Deformation
thats funny!
that was just multiple meshes cross fading and dissolving into each other. i didnt see any "per vertex deformation". biggest bull shit ever!

no i think it is inflicted by the player. if u look at some of the screenshots of the game, you will see that a zombie is on fire and looks exactly like the last model in this video where its a skeleton. the skeleton model could possibly be triggered wen the player burns the zombies in any way. so this might all happen in real time instead of just this being different models.

"Bump`

Just had to get this tread going again as after playing too much Left 4 Dead, I am looking forward to 2009 and any type of zombie game out there. I totally forgot about this title and am now drooling at it`s prospects.

The devs were recently asked about multiplayer in the game. I would like to see nothing more than 2-4 player drop-in/out co-op play, allowing friends on Xbox Live and pc`s to help eachother when the going gets tough and to experience this games gorgeous ideas with your closest mates.

Can`t wait for this game !!.
