Your environments have not improved since DOA3 which launched 12 years ago! Shaders, water, textures, destruction etc. have not improved AT ALL! Go home, do your homework and deliver something more than just a game worth wanking...
Man this game looks like crap. Out of all the same tired and over done fighters that we've all had to deal with for the last 500 years, this one used to be my favorite, and the only one I had interest in after my interest completely dropped for this genre 10 years ago. They don't even try anymore. The only decent fighter left is Mortal Kombat. which was actually a good reboot of the series. We really, REALLY need some new developers, new technologies (especially with animation and interaction), and new IP's.

Said the scrublord who doesn't understand fighters. It's a competitive scene, not DMC style action. Do you want to change the rules of Soccer and Ice hockey too? Man those fucking games have been the same for ever. So boring, what a piece of shit sports are! No innovation.
Not that i disagree that DoA sucks balls though, it's the worst 3D-fighter. I'd rather play Fighter Maker :P

Not really a demonstration of the next-gen consoles' power. Very disappointing. Is it really that FPS consuming to put a pseudo-3D grass into fighting games? C'mon...we are way ahead of times with flat textures.

Look your argument is bloody srupid and demonstrates a huge lack of understanding fir the basis of the comoetitive fighing genre. Its the same way that you dont change the rules of baseball every 2 years to keep the game fresh. You, as someone who isnt playing competitvely, this might be hard ro understand. But there is a fine balance of how much you can change a game that is played very serioualy at a high level. I mean they bloody broadcast tekken crash on tv in korea. Trust me, the fighting game community is not dead.
I agree that the graphics could be better by now in this latest Ninja macho man v busty teenage girl fighting carnage. Still, worth picking up in a bargain bucket sale as the gameplay still looks great as well as the new characters.
