Bungie take note, 2 single player chapters = 560MSP.

3 multiplayer maps =/= 800MSP.

This looks DLC looks to be more of the same great stuff that makes DS2, good job =)

The multplayer maps though are played repeatedly. SP is just a few uses. Chapters weren't especially long either. We'll see

That's a ridiculous statement. DLC shouldn't cost more just because your going to use it over and over again. It's all just data.
I guarantee you it took more time and money to produce these two chapters than it did 3 multiplayer maps.
The only reason map packs cost so much for games like Halo and CoD is because they have enormous fan bases. And a large portion of those people are willing to pay whatever Microsoft/Activison want to charge for them.

For me price matters with how much use I'm going to get out of it

I'm not going to buy a game that's four hours long. I'm certainly not going to pay for a few chapters for 1-2 hours of additional game play unless I'm really into the game.

Maps will get countless plays that vary every single time. Seems more appealing to me and doesn't seem like a ridiculous statement.

who in their right minds would be using a damn flamethrower in the event his in I mean something big is charging at you in you whip out a flame thrower instead of something that can cut through it or stop it in it's tracks

While I agree you can get more value out of map packs, trying to justify $10 for a 3 map pack is absurd. It is overpriced. No doubt about it. Maps used to be free, then they used to cost a little, and finally they cost 1/6 to 1/4 of the game's price. Ludicrous.

Anyway, Lexine and Gabe. Didn't see that coming.

I guess if you prefer your meat grilled instead of cut into large chunks. :)

Sdarts @rayy: Yes, Larian Studios is great. And D:OS2 had a year of Early Access with constant updates based on the community's feedback. Also, something I forgot to mention, there's already many mods for it (2 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: Yes, HDR is really awesome. But like with VR, it can't be shown in images or videos, you need to check it in person. Try all the games you can, it might give them a "second wind" for you. (2 Hours ago)
  • rayy
rayy @Sdarts: Play it today at a friend house on coop. Definitely much better game than the first and the first was already really good. I was also surprise how well it plays with a controller. (11 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker directly compare it to SDR, holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I just checked Ghost Recon beta and Hitman, ooooh my. :) (15 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: No lies detected man, very true. I don't know why I didn't notice it before, then again my only way of seeing a HDR game was via a video or two. But now with my own games and being able to (15 Hours ago)
