You've not played Trial's HD have you?

QFT. Seriously, it will come down to either Deadlight, or Dust: An Elysian Tail . . . especially with no new game from thatgamecompany hitting PSN this year. If Tequila Works delivers with Deadlight, and everything I have seen on the game suggest they will, then at the very least, Deadlight is going to be legendary (expect lots of copycats in the years to come). On the other hand, I got to play the original build of Dust: An Elysian Tail back in 08/09 while it was still on XNA Creators Club, it was already phenomenal then, just unpolished. A friend got to play the near final build of it at PAX East this year, and pretty much confirmed the that it was still phenomenal and much improved. Unless something unexpected comes along (likely another indie project on PC), one of the two of these games is currently shoe-in for digital game of the year.



I think you mean Trials: Evolution. Trials HD came out two years ago, and would not qualify as a 2012 Game of anything.
