I suck at reading how the specs work, but I have been able to run every game up to date with my Radeon HD 4890 on pretty much maxed out, this game doesnt seem demanding so I am sure I can handle it just as great as Crysis 2 on Very High.

Good thing they added native gamepad support on PC, best of two worlds for me, gamepad and awesome graphics :D

I think you only need the recommended gpu for the DX11 effects, rest will probably work just fine with your gpu.

I suppose these were taken on highest settings? looks terrible..

Meh, I am not a crazy graphics whore perfectionist, even though with DX11 I am sure it will be better, I dont care. As long as its better than console in visuals I am fine lol

2 same looking dudes (aside clothes) with totally same pose in 5th screenie... ugh... I'm really hoping actual gameplay is better than the looks... Shouldn't be too hard.

If those are maxed out pc screens, it, doesn't look all that good. Bland and generic. And if those are maxed out pc graphics and you need the recommended pc configuration like stated above, then I must say that the game can't be optimised for pc.

its a console port.. you cant expect it looking drastically different. The norm - higher res, less jaggies.

Atleast the art, music and atmosphere will deliver, if the trailers are anything to go by.

Need that soundtrack!

Well to be fair the previous Deus Ex games had pretty shotty graphics, without the High-res mods.

But of course story and atmosphere was what made the games interesting.

Here's a pretty old video showing some dx11 features and the 3-monitor support:

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (4 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (4 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (6 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (6 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (6 Hours ago)
