The new characters miss that special something ... Tomunobu wouldn't be proud

Did Koei and Tecmo merge? I'm so out of the loop.

Hmm... There is one new character though, you can see her in the 11th picture on the "characters" section of pictures. And yes, her design is definitely missing something and i don't mean more clothing. I wonder is she is the rumoured new playable character (whose slot was present on the latest demo for this game), or if she is just a minor character that has something to do with the overall plot.

@docLEXfisti: Tomonobu Itagaki is the kind of parent to DoA that cared for his child, but was cool enough to let her be the sexy-oriented-violent game that she is. Same goes to his foster son, Ninja Gaiden. But seriously, do you think that kind of father cares at all about his kids now that they have a new dad? Itagaki is the kind of developer that just turns the page and starts making more babies, -games. Can't wait until Demon's third.

That's Sonia from NG2, she just changed to match the art design of this game, she is also unplayable.

LOL Demons Third.

For some waiting for a game, you surely know the title, until you know Demons Third will never be made :)

Its Devil's Third.

Anybody else thinks these series could do with a spinoff not involving beach sports?. A beat'em up maybe? Starring Jann Lee in the chaotic streets of downtown Hong Kong? Or maybe a stealth/shooter game with Christie as the main?

I never said she wasn't. All i said is she was a new character (which she is, at least to DoA) and that her design was missing something (and it obviously is, her clothes look like DoA4's last optional clothes AKA casual clothing and therefore they don't deliver any impact). Could and should have sticked with her NG2 attire).

You got me there :p... More importantly... You changed your profile picture! (this comes from someone who never did) And it's got nothing to do with Team Ninja! I'm moved.

GriftGFX This VR rhythm game looks pretty fun: [url] (5 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite that's a pretty big deal, as its probably the biggest stumbling block for the tech. (8 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Stuff like inside out tracking and eye tracking, as well as motion sickness solutions should be in place. We've already got a product in development that claims to have eradicated that already (8 Hours ago)

MrWhite The potential of it is massive. More so than what traditional gaming now is. Second gen is going to be very interesting. (8 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite We're sort of being spoon fed bit sized "experiences" that either work or don't. I suppose that's part of the freshness of it, though. I just wish some big devs would get more involved. (8 Hours ago)

MrWhite @KORNdog: Ironically, though, the VR scene is also playing it safe. Too safe. There's not enough big risk titles like RE7. (8 Hours ago)

GriftGFX I can't really wrap my head around being dismissive of indie games. That's a pretty broad label. (11 Hours ago)
