Driver 4 trailer

Driver 4 trailer

Atari sent us this trailer of Driver: Parallel Lines, and I have to admit - it looks pretty impressive. With some luck, we'll hopefully have some more from this game next week.

now if the rendered sequences would be realtime... maybe in the xbox360 version ;)
but looks ok for a xbox title.
i hope gameplay wise it will not be a disaster like driver 3..

This game coming to the 360?

Nope, they've already announced Driver 5 for next-gen apparently.

They can keep it.

Driver 5 already, why don't they just boost up the graphics and put this one on the next gen

No.......... I really want to be able to play in the bronx man, new york i loved the concept of this one.

I hope part 5 is in new york as well and it seems as interesting as that one was.

I don't think Driver 5 will be in New York again, Probarly San Francisco or LA.
San Francisco would be cool...they don't use the city much in games.

They got to show me something mindblowing to restrengthen my faith in the driver series, driver 3 was horrible and i'm not only talking about the walking part....

I have no anticipation for this at all, if it gets a good score (8+), i'll consider.

I was fortunate to play a build of this recently. Seemed quite fun to me but I couldn't comment on how it compares to Driver 3 as I never played that!

What was the difference between Driv3r and what I presume was called Driver 2?

Not much. I think that was the problem. Could you comment on the framerate and what the running/aiming/shooting felt like?

Frame rate seemed a solid 30fps but this wasn't a final build. Didn't drop on me though. Didn't do an awful lot of running around but controls were solid enough. On a PS/2 though and I don't like the analogue set up on the dual shocks :/

I dont get it...no one wants driver when people have GTA...and not to mention Saints Row coming out on 360...who the hell would want another driver..

I agree. These dumbshits just don't understand the whole "STOP GETTING OUT OF THE FUCKING CAR" thing. Remember the first Driver? Yeah, it was all about driving, and it was good.

lmfao...couldn't have said it better myself.

About the game

GriftGFX And plenty of those examples are online PVP games too. Quake Champions probably isn't one of them :D (43 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @MrWhite: No, not really. There are loads of examples of games with microtransactions that don't influence the game design or pollute the basic user experience. (44 minutes ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Could you imagine back when arena shooters like Q3A were very popular, and the cunts introduced pay to win bollocks like EA, 2k, Activision et al are doing? Imagine what that would have done. (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite meanwhile on the other end, some kid who just bought the game is playing as Wigan, but they're playing like Real Madrid and giving your superstars a tanking. Time to dip into your pocket to buy packs (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite Online play is so heavily scripted, your team inexplicably feels like a bunch of fat pub players in a sunday league side, and you're supposed to be in control of world class athletes (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite I mean, if you look at Fifa online, I've been saying for years that thing is a fix and my mates looked at me like I was mental. (3 Hours ago)
  • MrWhite
MrWhite @GriftGFX: But you know it will in some shape or form. It hurts the game by default just by being there in the same way microtransactions and all that other shite does. (3 Hours ago)
