Well the atmosphere and gunplay seems to be much more polished and fun than the orignal games.

Tbh, it reminds me of Red Faction Guerilla, but on snow planet (which i love, like Dead Space 3). Could be fun.

@Sath Ha, it did give me kind of a RFG vibe. I still vaguely remember us playing that disjointed multiplayer online. TAP FOR THE BEACONS!

I will more than likely get this. I loved the first game. Since they pretty much made LP2 a co-op only game I had to skip it, which was a shame. This one looks great though.

Loks like any generic shooter these days. Boooooooring.
And LP2 was super awesome as well.

Cover system is for pussies. And the general new features are lame, too (no really T-Eng ressource element which added a nice strategic feature in LP1 and LP2).

LP2 was pure garbage I hope this is nothing like that and more like the first.

I hope this is nothing like either. Thought they where both equally shit for different reasons.

Not got much hope for it tho.

Oh yeah i remember it, mash those buttons! lol

First game was great because of the only ice/snow levels and the coldness took a critical feature on gameplay. The atmosphere was amazing IMO and those explosions oh yes, but LP2 was BAD. Boring levels, just plain boring. Only good thing was the customization of it.

But this one seems to be more like RFG+RF Armageddon+Lost Planet type.
Its a shame the mech is boring, they should have gone into 3rd person and more mobile like LP1. And they should have added a grappling hook since thats the iconic weapon for Lost Planet and a reference from Bionic Commando.

First one was decent but that garbage aiming system docked a few points for me, I still liked it overall.

Aiming was so garbage I made it through Extreme mode and was killing stuff like a master. It's all in the quick turns.

Is just that I particularly don't like at all that the teticule is all over the screen.

Your "teticules" were all over the screen? Put them back in your own damn pants man 0_o.

Aiming was great Lost Planet. Loved being able to run in any direction while shooting in any direction.

The aming wasent that big of an issue for me, but the button combinations to do simple thing was.

LP1 was great, the second was not and this looks mediocre.

Never played the second one due to the horrible reviews and forum feedback but I adored the first one.
