E308: Resident Evil 5 trailer

Capcom showed a gameplay demo of Resident Evil 5 at the conference, also announcing a two-player co-op mode. The game is planned to be released in early March 2009, and here are some new images and a new trailer.
Update: Both versions of the trailer are now available. The gameplay part seem identical, but the story part is totally different.

The players sucked. My only complaint about the game though, is that (seemingly) you get dropped out of zoom every time you fire off a shot.

Was speaking about the gameplay shown at Microsoft's conference.

it looks really good gameplay speaking, but i am really starting to miss the old fashion resident evil storytelling. back then it seemed more believable how you could actually tell that the enemies were experiments done by a corrupt corperation. now you cant even tell the difference between a zombie on a bike from a psychotic man on a bike. but i guess if they have to screw with the story for gameplay purposes, so be it. i will buy it anyways.

I totally agree.

It looks ok, I wasn't a huge fan of RE4 so I'm not all that hyped for this game, I will no doubt still end up getting it though.

That looks absolutely incredible. Far, far more interesting than this gen's previous big hitters, GTA4 and MGS4.
