Arkane Studios made quite an impression with Dishonored 2 and so did its sister studio baded in Austin with the reveal of PREY. The reboot is a scifi FPS that looks inspired by System Shock as information leaks suggested months ago. The title is set to release next year with more details at QuakeCon. Only the trailer images for the moment, we hope Bethesda will be able to send us the trailer in high quality soon.
BETHESDA SOFTWORKS ANNOUNCES PREY®
Renowned Team at Arkane Studios Reveal Vision for Sci-Fi Franchise
June 12, 2016 (Rockville, MD) – Bethesda Softworks®, a ZeniMax® Media company, today announced Prey, a first-person sci-fi action game from Arkane® Studios - the award-winning creators of the 2012 ‘Game of the Year’, Dishonored®. Known for their creative gameplay, distinctive worlds and immersive stories, Arkane reimagines this franchise from the ground up, with an added psychological twist. Prey is slated for release in 2017 on the Xbox One, PlayStation® 4 computer entertainment system and PC.
In Prey, you awaken aboard Talos I, a space station orbiting the moon in the year 2032. You are the key subject of an experiment meant to alter humanity forever – but things have gone terribly wrong. The space station has been overrun by hostile aliens and you are now being hunted. As you dig into the dark secrets of Talos I and your own past, you must survive using the tools found on the station, your wits, weapons, and mind-bending abilities.
“At Arkane, our passion for creating unique worlds where you can improvise, experiment and play your way has driven our vision for Prey,” said Raphael Colantonio, president and co-creative director at Arkane Studios. “We’re excited to show you more of the sci-fi world we’re creating at QuakeCon this summer.”
I only started watching Into the Badlands 3 weeks ago, before the start of the second season. The first season only has 6 episodes, so it's easy to binge/catch-up. Really liked it since the beginning. (12 minutes ago)
But as a "Hero Drama" or just simpy "Drama" show, it's good. That's why I recommend Into The Badlands, it has great fights, a serviceable story and some very good characters. (14 minutes ago)
@Moonwalker: I do get it. As a "Action Hero" show, it sucks since there's not much action and even the little it has, it's frankly average quality-wise. Nothing impressive as Daredevil's. (15 minutes ago)
Yeah I'm really not getting all the negativity about Iron Fist. I find it a very enjoyable show actually. (19 minutes ago)
And some of the characters use superpowers, not really a spoiler since it's revealed in the first episode's half. Almost all the fights put any in Iron Fist to shame. Seriously. (31 minutes ago)
I really, really, really recommend "Into The Badlands" on AMC: [url] It's not a AAA show - doesn't have the budget. But the fight scenes are great. (33 minutes ago)
Basically, what he did in the last episode was what he was supposed to be doing from the 5th or 6th episode onwards, instead we kept learning many families' histories. (35 minutes ago)
