Here's the gameplay trailer of Batman: Arkham Origins that gives a glimpse at some new features and villains like Bane, Deathstroke, Black Mask, Deadshot and The Joker. The game is still set to release in October.
Looks and pretty much plays like Arkham City, not that its a bad thing, but I hope they added more combat stuff to it.
Other than that, can't wait, and story should be interesting since its Batman in his early years so its not the Batman we know now.
Combat boring in these games? I think you've been playing a different game to me. The combat in AA and AC were some of the most fun I've had in a game of this type in a while.
Definitely won't defend Assassins Creed, since after 2 you got that counter that could kill anything with a single button press. But in his defense Batman does have boring combat compared to Sleeping Dogs. But that's the only game that would make me say so.

I haven't played Sleeping Dogs, but I was under the impression that the combat was pretty much in the vain of the Batman Arkham games, except not as smooth or animated as well...
Well to me combat in Batman doesn't have this impact feel when dealing blows. Everything is too smooth. Punch, kick counter are....hm don't know how to say this but they also all feel the same, boring. Ow and tell me if you could survive without counter move hm?? The answer is no, just like in Assassin.

That said Assassin creed was fun(All parts) Batman wasn`t. I tried to play many times both AA and AC and i always dropped them when it came to fighting. Then again its a matter of preferences, Mrwhite liked them so.....
