Ubisoft certainly pleased us at the end of their press conference with this new CG trailer of Beyond Good & Evil 2. Beautiful stuff, but now please some gameplay!

I loved tis trailer, so much personality and attitude. The characters felt alive and the gameplay elements teased are amazing. At the end of the Ubisoft conference, behind the developers, you coud see that you will be able to fly with te monkey. Monkey Space Program or something.
If I'm not mistaken, I believe we will be able to play with multiple characters. Either way, the game's concept looks amazing and I hope we get to see gameplay before this year ends. Very excited!

Any chance we can get a version of this without the French hard-subs at some point? The video quality is amazing compared to the really compressed Youtube version but those baked in subtitles are sorta distracting. Thanks.

Nailed it tbh. This thing is years away since ancel is only a small team and making wild too alongside it. Assuming anything even comes of it at all. It certainly didn't last time and it had a much more faithful style than this...thing.
Stylistically i hate it though if thats what they're going for. And the obnoxious monkey needs to go die in a fire.

It's honestly kinda sad that they need to pander to that sort of audience to get any sort of attention. Apparently hyper real dark and gritty with swearing is what the IP has to be in order to be greenlit. Frankly i wish it stayed dead.
Oh, and apparently it's some online persistent world...becasue ubisoft dont like you being offline apparently. Lol.

So maybe I'm just being prude or that I don't really know what BG&E is all about, but I started playing the original about 2 weeks ago. Not very far at all. This trailer seems like a far cry from the personality of the first game and well, it was pretty disappointing to me. I really think they could have done without the fuck this fuck that fuckity fuck fuck fuck shit, and I already want to murder that monkey. Suddenly traumatizing memories of Jar Jar Binks rolling back in where I just want to murder the character
This trailer sort of kills everything, what I loved about BG&E1. As a standalone, it's entertaining CG flick, but I just hope that monkey is not gonna be the main character.
