Activision released this trailer of Call of Duty 3, to be developed by Treyarch, in 720p. Even though it's a target trailer, it still doesn't convince me that letting Treyarch do it was the right idea.

I would much rather have Infinity Ward doing something new and different at least, in this case the Modern Warfare (ala BF2). I mean if they had to make another World War 2 call of duty, it might as well be made by Treyarch.

If you dont know this call of duty will be only for console not on pc.
i was reading joystiq when this was announced and they hinted that infinity ward is busy at work on a cod modern warfare game set in more modern times - hence why development was given to treyarch

When you refer to "THEY" do you mean the industry or specific people, because last time I checked MOH is an EA title, whereas COD is an Activision title, 2 very different companies, so using MOH in your example is pointless. True the PC versions of these games were better, but then you had COD2 for PC/360 and you are going to be hard pressed to find someone who thinks that the 360 version was crap, or that the PC version was better.
