I can't wait for this sequel, long overdue, I hope it retains it's quirky and funny campaign. The original game in 2006 was good fun and the main character was very funny with his commentary on most things. I loved the whole mystical American Indian spiritual vibe. The gameplay was fun especially the anti-gravity bits.

This honestly looks like it has 0% to do with the original Prey. It looks great though.

Well.. they're using the Prey "IP" so far as the name goes but beyond that I wonder if they'll even try to connect them.

I kinda hope they don't. I would love a real Prey 2 but they probably shouldn't force it.

Prey isn't a great game but I really liked it. I loved all the Art Bell radio messages you'd discover. Good stuff.

I hope this re-imagining retains the charm of the original game, but so far from this trailer it looks like it's heading into another generic shooter territory.

I thought 2006 Prey was great game, any game I have fun with is a great game, and I had loads of fun with the original game. Games don't have to be like Uncharted 4 and TLOU great for me to consider it to be a great game, not saying that that's what you're saying either. :P

Oh I like it a lot too.. I think it's good just not great :)

I'm not too worried about it being a generic shooter. That would be new territory for Arkane.

Perhaps I use the word great too loosely. :P

I'm glad that they are at least re-visiting a good game. But I would hate for them to turn it into a generic shooter, It'll be like when Insomniac wanted to release Overstrike for PS3, but instead did the generic bullshit game Fuse.

Its nothing like the first game. But then neither was the prey 2 reveal, so either way we were heading for a sequel in name alone. But I definitely think this looks way better then the bladerunner bounty hunter game they was going for before. They've got a really good writer on board too...I'm confident this will be great.

Prey 2 was going to tie them together, but who knows how successful it would be.

Ultimately it doesn't matter.. that's not a thing and this is :D

nostradamus @Megido: retarded... too much crazy anime, vs. stylish in MGS. The bosses on MGS4 were retarded, minus ocelot. he was awesome. (3 Hours ago)

Megido The problem with MGS 2 is that you hate all the characters, and the villains are retarded. Then you beat the game in 2 hours if you skip all the codec speak. (5 Hours ago)

nostradamus lukeward destination visually and there isn't much sandbox to the level the tanker level had. still great, freakin 60fps and probably some of the best visuals, effects in any game to that date. (6 Hours ago)

nostradamus the problem i had with mgs2 was that the tabker level was in itself a freaking great sandbox demo and one would imagen where on manhattan the full fledge game would take us. then the big shell is a (6 Hours ago)
  • nostradamus
nostradamus @Megido: errr... no. it has long cutscenes, yes, but there is a lot of meat to the game compared to say, MGS:TEA where you beat the game in less than 10 hours and there still is a lot of cutscenes. (6 Hours ago)
