Even though it will probably not be the best-looking game out there, Deus Ex: Human Revolution should not fail to deliver and we advise you to keep a close eye on it. Here is a video filmed on the showfloor showing sequences from the first true mission of the game.

Still not really impressed with this. As much as I want to love this game, it just doesn't look quite right to me. The level design is very boring and uninspired. The AI looks pretty terrible. The graphics are below average, but not terrible. Absolutely hate the melee kills though.

Sneaking up to a guy, seeing "press A now", pressing "A" and then watching the screen go black for a second before the camera pans way out and shows me punching him? Talk about killing immersion! I just have a very sinking feeling that this won't even live up to DE:IW, much less the original...

Also funny how the cardboard boxes say "do not destroy", yet they are completely indestructible like everything else...

Definitely kills the immmersion, those closecombat kills. Is this PC footage or 360?

I think it's 360 footage, and yeah, the enemy AI looks rather dumb...but, it's a demo. I agree on the whole cut-scene kills, but maybe they can be disabled, after all, didn't they talk about having a customizable UI?

With such stealth-heavy game why couldnt they add 3rd person view only option so we could play it that way like Splinter Cell and MGS.

But from everything I seen so far, I will just get the soundtrack :P

The more I see of this game, the less I'm interested. I agree with michaelob.
What exactly happened when the player took that guy out in stealth fashion, and a vending machine is put on top of him, the other guy 6 feet away doesn't hear or notice anything?

Well most of the time the enemy's back is facing the player, so i'm not sure they can be called exactly dumb. Will have to see how they react to dead allies and such things first.
