FC3 was the best FPS game last gen IMO so this one should be awesome too

I loved FC3, and can´t wait to play 4. Environments look gorgeous, nice graphics and nice action!

Do I have to kill all those poor animals just to upgrade my pocket and belt ? Do I need to destroy dozens of copy/paste outposts again ?

^ You can bet that's in the game again. :p

You expect a downgrade?!

I don't think it looks that amazing. It looks good, but not amazing.

I think he was being sarcastic. There's a trend of cries of "downgrade" that seems to be all the fashion these days whenever something looks visually impressive.

I think this game does look very good visually. There's some lovely smoke effects going on there, and foliage looks very detailed. Animals now have fur. Looks like the devs were having fun with Zbrush's latest updates of being able to literally just paint fur onto a model, groom it, and then port it. Convenient stuff. The game also looks really fun with those elephant's entering the fray and fucking stuff up. Yep, looks like another good FC experience to me.

I didn't like FC3 at all tbh, too much hand holding and I got bored waaaaaayyy too fast.
This looks great graphically, I don't think this will be for me though seeing as the gameplay isn't that different from FC3.
But to each their own I guess

It's Ubicrap. Doubt is 100% warranted when their trailer is even remotely impressive graphically even if it's "gameplay." Even that AC:Unity's NPC amount is very doubtful —,— . But then again, NPC AI in AC games is crap at best so it may not be that intensive to resources

Hitman has already achieved that sort of crowd density on the PS2. I can't imagine it's pushing much in regards to processing, even in an open world game.

Yeah, but the AI of NPC's in that game is horrendous. They do not react to what you're doing. AC AI runs and shouts for help so it needs more resources to run

Have you guys seen Homefront : Revolution ? It looks like it'll be better than Far Cry 3's "crafting" mechanic. Here it is

Quality is horrendous though XD

Don't wanna watch it when it looks so awful. I'll wait for better footage.

Resources? Aye, that's what those 8 CPU cores must be for, and a dozen or more compute units on the GPU die. I dunno. You tell me. You seem to know something even the devs don't.

I'm expecting downgrade, as everything Ubi.

This game looks great as it stands. I hope much doesn't change between now and November. The environment looks fantastic. Haven't ever been a real fan of exploring open worlds, but this one might have me looking around a bit.

Way to go on your passive-aggressive attack there ^.^ . But just so you know, even though the consoles have 8 cores, it's not as powerful as a high-end desktop processor core by core plus there are more things than NPC AI and rendering that needs to be processed. I'm just predicting it and not saying I'm 100% sure that's why I said "it may not be that intensive to resources." You may have had a case of temporary blindness because you want to get back at me.

But my real reason of doubting that aspect - It's Ubicrap. They've done it before on AC 1. So if it happens again, it's nothing new. Research it if you think I'm making it up.

Screw that the video is 60FPS with PS4 prompts, is Far Cry 4 1080/60 on PS4?

No confirmation on that info yet. If they did, there will be riot again on X1 and PS4 res war

Sdarts @rayy: Yes, Larian Studios is great. And D:OS2 had a year of Early Access with constant updates based on the community's feedback. Also, something I forgot to mention, there's already many mods for it (3 Hours ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts @Moonwalker: Yes, HDR is really awesome. But like with VR, it can't be shown in images or videos, you need to check it in person. Try all the games you can, it might give them a "second wind" for you. (3 Hours ago)
  • rayy
rayy @Sdarts: Play it today at a friend house on coop. Definitely much better game than the first and the first was already really good. I was also surprise how well it plays with a controller. (12 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker directly compare it to SDR, holy shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit. I just checked Ghost Recon beta and Hitman, ooooh my. :) (17 Hours ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @Sdarts: No lies detected man, very true. I don't know why I didn't notice it before, then again my only way of seeing a HDR game was via a video or two. But now with my own games and being able to (17 Hours ago)
