I watched this live yesterday, and was blown away.

It looks like cgi alot of the time.

I have to say that the enviremonts are lacking a bit... seems to much GoW2 still, but they did overdone themselves in the kratos model and some enemies, other not so much.

I never had interest in God of War, never played one either. But this is just amazing. That lighting is spectacular. Me want this badly!!!

I dig this game, it's like fast food and all, but what gives with the disappearing enemies on this PS3 entry? Why can't they just lay there?

The graphics aren't the best you'll see, but it's very brutal - which is a plus in my books - and epic in scope.

I never saw the fuss with the God of War series though. They're solid titles, but nothing more than that really.

Mate, graphics gotta look outstanding in 1080p and rocksolid 60fps ;) Just give me more actions like with centaur and i'm totally sold ;) (what the hell im talking about i was sold at announcment ;D)

this was a disappointment for me.. i was expecting more to be honest. I think the trouble is that alot of the details in the visuals are lost because the cams too far away. If it was moved closer during combat with enemys of his size then it would look alot more visually impressive.

Also.. lose the QTE's. Lets evolve this gen. If i'm fighting a giant i want to be in control of that fight.

Can't say I find the game all appealing visually. Games like Splinter Cell, Uncharted 2 and Alan Wake kick the shit out of this. As for gameplay, it looks ok at best, imo.

Seems like I'm the only one that feels this way, but the GOW series just doesn't do it for me.

After all these comments that were posted earlier I was kinda hyped but the gameplay video wasn't that exciting for me. I'm not disappointed but I can't understand the fuzz about these gameplay scenes. Sure it does look good like most of the exclusive games (both on xbox360 and ps3) but I couldn't see any real progress in the gameplay department.
Nonetheless I will get GOW3 when it's released because GOW1+2 were very good and entertaining games.

Either you sacrifice the amazing kills (how exactly could you map controls to stabbing something in the face with its own horn) or you just enjoy the QTEs.

I always quite liked QTEs and don't understand why people hate them. Obviously if they're lazily done then yes, they can make a game boring. The pressure of having to react really fast I personally find quite exciting.
