Xbox 360 PS3

Midway again with this gameplay video of Mortal Kombat vs. DC Universe, one of the good surprises of the show. A game to follow for sure, at least for the pleasure of beating the crap out of Batman and Superman.
Video temporarily pulled at Midway's demand (they're sorry :p).

looks o.k I guess....I use to be a HUGE MK fan...until they made it into full 3d. and having these comic book characters in the MK universe is just plain weird o.0 I wish they would just make a 2d mk with 3d graphics that would be so much better than this and all the mk fighters none of this DC/MK crap... =[ I'll buy it when it goes down to below 30 dollars lol

I still have the same complaints as before.. gameplay looks horribly stiff, slow and clunky. It appears to be using the same dial-a-combo system as the last few games instead of a more free form style like Soulcalibur or Tekken.

Personally, I don't mind the idea for the game as much as some people seem to.. but there's no way I'm going to play a 360/PS3 game that plays this outdated, I was barley able to put up with it last generation with Deadly Alliance and Deception, but now it's just ridiculous..

hmm, looks better than I expected, feels abit wierd the "finish him" move wasn't all violent and stuff (I know they said they have removed them) and lack of blood in general looked abit wierd too but still am quite impressed definately a surprise.

Co-sign all of this except I do have issue with DC being in the universe. Not that two universes can't go together but the styles are so different it's jarring. Marvel vs. Capcom was perfect.

not sure what tekken game you are playing, but the tekken games i've played all have dial-a-combo systems too ...

i think this game looks like crap thoug, i had hopes until i saw the gameplay. if you notice too, when they fall off the building or arena, they end up back in the same exact arena. the stupid mini-game combos are lame as hell too.

also those complaining about blood, this game certainly has blood in it.

is that a seriuos question? i think this game looks like its goin to fail. gameplay looks all stiff and jus not natural. and i think the 2 diff universes do not go together at all. they are jus 2 different. superman would like kill those ppl in one hit.

but i think they should make another Capcom vs. Snk or marvel. those games were great. wish i still had em =[

I'm a fighting game fanatic and I played MK back during the days of 2d. I bought all the 3d ones just to give it a go. This game does not look like a step above the Deadly Alliance generation of games at all.

How is this archaic relic of a 3d fighter still going? Animations are stiff, a ground/teching game seems like it's not even there yet, and you can still jab into long stupid combos that fully connect on first hit. Jesus, I don't even think there's a counter hit system that rewards you for interrupting.
