Those flares look amazing. And I always love a game that isn't afraid to show a fuller color palette.

It does look pretty sweet, but I'm still LOLing at the concept... Love the high tech North Koreans, lol...

I love when games surroundings feel as if they could be in your own back yard. It adds an ultra sense of realism to the mix, that draws you deeper into the story.

It's a unified Korea, which makes it somewhat more realistic.

Anyway, I have hopes for this game, but not expectations. I want KAOS Studios to be awesome. I wanted Frontlines to be awesome, and it was loaded with great concepts, but it had just as many flaws. Here's me hoping that they learned quite a bit from their experience with that game, and that this is everything that FFOW could have been. I'm looking forward to watching this one. It could end up just about anywhere on the quality scale at this point, from meh to amazing.

this from the guys who did the Desert combat mod for Battlefield 1942 which is considered to be one of teh best mods ever. Frontlines was cool too but didn't catch on...I am looking forward to this. These guys are very talented IMO

About the game

What's up?
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I mean they can keep upgrading it but why bother when they have more capable engines already. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I just think it shows its age in a lot of ways in FC5 and they have better tech so they should use it. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth if they still pay royalties to crytech when using it they probably should (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Although I think it's kinda time to retire Dunia. (1 Hour ago)
  • Melmoth
Melmoth @HR2: a lot of studios used modified UE3, games like Arkham Knight, XCom2, both being very problematic on pc. Interesting to see what those studios will do for their next games. (1 Hour ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @HR2: Ubisoft uses their own engines. They have like.. three solid in house game engines. (1 Hour ago)
  • HR2
HR2 @Melmoth: agreed. speaking of Ubisoft, I wonder which engine they're using for the next Splinter Cell. a heavily modified UE3 like Batman AK or UE4? (2 Hours ago)
