I like the fact that John Milius is involved but it's hard to tell much else at this point other than it's kind of like Red Dawn: The Game...which in itself it kind of amusing.

third pic reminded me of HL2 for some weird reason.

^^ Big red barn at the side of the river in HL2, just like pic 3! I see it.

I hope the levels are big because it's not really an eye pleaser apart from that awsome looking sky and clouds in image 4.

This sounds fantastic. Love the story so far, and the visuals look natural and realistic. I like that. I just hope they can address the aliasing somehow, with either some AA or atleast optimize the game to run at a native 720p.

Judging by the jaggies and the bloom, this is UE3.

About the game

GriftGFX FFA deathmatch is pretty fun in OW even though it's totally not balanced. Great Tracer practice. (7 Hours ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog The Orville episode 3 was amazing. Very heavy topic but handled it extremely well. (8 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX I wasn't really setting up any specific comparison at all. I said modern phones and many PCs. That's pretty vague. You can set whatever limits on that you want. (9 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX Granted.. synthetic benchmarks are just that.. but in Geekbench 4 a Snapdragon 835 can outperform a Q9550.. which is definitely faster than the E6600. (9 Hours ago)

GriftGFX My personal history of personal computing goes back to 8-bit computers. I think 2017 ARM CPUs are amazing. (9 Hours ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX @droezelke: I said E6600.. and its single core performance in synthetic benchmarks is certainly comparable. But yes. You can go back to the 80s. I didn't say anything about them being modern. (9 Hours ago)
  • droezelke
droezelke @GriftGFX: no, a snapdragon 835 does not have computing power of a Q6600 (9 years old). Do you really want to go further in time to prove your statement made sense? (9 Hours ago)
