The PS Vita will be a brilliant tool for level creators.

I really wanted to like LBP and played the demos for both games but I just can't stand the floaty feel, it just feels somehow...insipid and unsatisfying.

Outland, now that's how a platformer should play.

I agree, I love the whole building aspect but the actual platforming doesn't feel good to me. But can't you change the gravity in the editor mode?

in LBP 2, yes.

i like the feel of the platforming personally. less "twitchy" then a typical 2D mario style platformer, and the "floaty" movements make sense to me considering you're controlling a 2 inch tall, wool filled hessian sack. lol.

this, much like modnation just seem to have been made for the vita. they just make sense.

What's up?

MrWhite Not "Here, you can have it all and become a god that can knock over a 30 tonne beast!" Had to be a balance there. There wasn't one. (4 Hours ago)

MrWhite having a perk slot system too. Only being able to equip a couple to suit what kind of style you want to play as. (5 Hours ago)

MrWhite Little things that could have elevated the game from being just 'OK' to deserving the praise it got. (5 Hours ago)

MrWhite another solution for repetitive combat and progression is a weapon maintenance system, sparser ammo, and making each machine have a unique invulnerability to certain attacks. (5 Hours ago)

MrWhite A simple solution would have been a command wheel function for overridden machines. Attack, defend, stay, suicide attack, follow etc (5 Hours ago)

MrWhite the maps design didn't facilitate it. Like I say, poor design everywhere. (5 Hours ago)

MrWhite @Tiz: I just think its sloppy AI coding, and just a general lack of want of doing it that way. One other reason is the on rails system for automatic riding (5 Hours ago)
