I really wanted to like LBP and played the demos for both games but I just can't stand the floaty feel, it just feels somehow...insipid and unsatisfying.

Outland, now that's how a platformer should play.

I agree, I love the whole building aspect but the actual platforming doesn't feel good to me. But can't you change the gravity in the editor mode?

in LBP 2, yes.

i like the feel of the platforming personally. less "twitchy" then a typical 2D mario style platformer, and the "floaty" movements make sense to me considering you're controlling a 2 inch tall, wool filled hessian sack. lol.

this, much like modnation just seem to have been made for the vita. they just make sense.

What's up?
  • KORNdog
KORNdog But even the ones i've opened have had way less in them. It's brutal. 2 parts are going to push me pretty hard. Dunno if i'll manage them. (18 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog i've had to miss some of the locked doors because i litterally don't have the stuff to craft a shiv. (20 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog @Moonwalker: you take more damage, enemies are more aware, clickers can hear even better, way less ammo, way less crafting items, no listen mode. (25 minutes ago)
  • Moonwalker
Moonwalker @KORNdog: Yeah plenty can be avoided. So that's the difference between normal, hard and survivor? No items crafiting? (38 minutes ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Areas i found hard as nails on hard i'm finding a cake walk on survivor just becasue i know i can sneak past the entire thing. (1 Hour ago)
  • KORNdog
KORNdog Half way through on survivor mode now. So far it's not being too bad. Worse think is the lack of crafting items. But it's surprising how many of the combat situations are entirely avoidable. (1 Hour ago)
