Well that's .... interesting.

I haven't really made my mind up yet if this game's concept is a good idea.

I think it looks a stupid idea, No matter what rubbish they come out with about how superman can get beat up sonya it's just wrong and i'll be staying well clear of this.

I warmed up to the idea of this game, it could be pretty fun, and I actually really like the character designs thus far. However.. The animation and gameplay in general looks very stiff, slow, and clunky. Instead of using a more fluid, free form fighting system, like Soulcailbur or Tekken it seems like they're still going with dial-a-combo.

It was outdated with the past few MK games, but releasing a PS3/360 game like that is totally unacceptable.

It's been explained, and actually makes sense. Move on, and find something else to complain about :P

It looks ok graphically but the animation and movement are just terrible.

I like the crossovers theyre doin in fighting games, lets you get decent fighting games out of characters that usual fail in the that genre.
Plus it lets the game appeal to fans of other franchises, yes it may be a cheap way to earn extra cash but if they can do it then why not.
I wouldn't even contemplate either SC or MK, but with these crossovers...yea sure, i'll bite.
As for the people saying they dont fit, why not? it's not like these games have sweeping story arcs or any sense of greater purpose, theyre just fighting games that pit one character against another and as long as they are balanced and not cheap then they fit perfectly.

The whole superman is invincible etc or the force is all powerful doesnt even factor into it, it's called balance and fairness, puttin any invincible char into any game would be pointless, last i saw superman could die from punches in any superman game so why have issues with it here?

dude it's based on old school fighting principles.Move on, and find something else to complain about :).

seriously though your right, I think MK 3&4 were peaks in the series and none have come close since.

This just feels like a desperate way to draw attention to a doomed series.

About the game

What's up?

GriftGFX It's not like those people working on this imaginary game aren't working on other real games instead anyway. Nothing is lost. (10 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX And I don't prefer to have "nothing" because I bother to recognize Valve's actual game development. (11 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX "I don't care who develops it" is a really weird thing for a person who cares about games to say. (12 minutes ago)
  • GriftGFX
GriftGFX But I understand that thought process in today's highly branded market. Gotta have that franchise name attached to a product to care about it. (12 minutes ago)

GriftGFX @Sdarts: No, I prefer creators keep their content to themselves instead of farming it out to third parties because it's a terrible way to make video games. (13 minutes ago)
  • Sdarts
Sdarts I love games/franchises, as long as the developers do a great job, quite honestly I don't give a flying fuck who develops it. A different team could even do a much better job - rare, but happens. (46 minutes ago)

Sdarts Preferring to have nothing to everyone, rather than something potentially great for many people is entitlement alright. And of the most stupid kind even. (47 minutes ago)
