I haven't really made my mind up yet if this game's concept is a good idea.
It was outdated with the past few MK games, but releasing a PS3/360 game like that is totally unacceptable.
I think it looks a stupid idea, No matter what rubbish they come out with about how superman can get beat up sonya it's just wrong and i'll be staying well clear of this.
Plus it lets the game appeal to fans of other franchises, yes it may be a cheap way to earn extra cash but if they can do it then why not.
I wouldn't even contemplate either SC or MK, but with these crossovers...yea sure, i'll bite.
As for the people saying they dont fit, why not? it's not like these games have sweeping story arcs or any sense of greater purpose, theyre just fighting games that pit one character against another and as long as they are balanced and not cheap then they fit perfectly.
The whole superman is invincible etc or the force is all powerful doesnt even factor into it, it's called balance and fairness, puttin any invincible char into any game would be pointless, last i saw superman could die from punches in any superman game so why have issues with it here?

seriously though your right, I think MK 3&4 were peaks in the series and none have come close since.
You would think they would come up with a some unique fighting stances...
All this game is missing is Chuck norris
